 I recently saw the spoilers for ME3, which have been proven true by Bioware actively trying to stop these spoilers getting out, and I get the feeling that Bioware does not care about their existing fanbase. 

I'm not going to spoil anything as people should be able to witness the story as they wish, but if you look at the Mass Effect games you see Bioware quite obviously forgetting their old fanbase to try and get people who are new to their games in. This isnt a bad thing for business at all, thats obvious. But when you say that its going to be a trilogy and that our choices matter, we shouldn't expect to have them 'major and meaningful plot choices' retconned because Bioware specifically wants to tell one story, and only one. 

The spoilers really do show that Bioware is trying to make each game an 'entry point' into the series and it shouldnt be like that. 

I know I'll get some hate for this post but I'm only expressing my opinions. I know for one that if a trilogy of movies had done this then it would make the series as a whole seem like a waste when I could have just watched/spent my time and money on the last one.

Or, crazy thought, Bioware is trying to stop people spreading misinformation about their game and passing it off as fact. But that would make too much sense.

inb4 priestly lock. Gotta love him for toeing the company line on things he knows are true but still calls rumours. I'm looking at you multiplayer

Crazy, logical thought here. If the spoilers weren't true then Bioware would not be doing anything about it. If I was to post stuff about the next Bioshock game saying that I found a file and it said everyone dies then Bioware would just say "This isn't true." They wouldn't issue out C&D's.

Since not all of what has been leaked is currently in game, they are rumors (not the leak, that sadly is not a rumor).
