I'm not going to spoil anything as people should be able to witness the story as they wish, but if you look at the Mass Effect games you see Bioware quite obviously forgetting their old fanbase to try and get people who are new to their games in. This isnt a bad thing for business at all, thats obvious. But when you say that its going to be a trilogy and that our choices matter, we shouldn't expect to have them 'major and meaningful plot choices' retconned because Bioware specifically wants to tell one story, and only one.
The spoilers really do show that Bioware is trying to make each game an 'entry point' into the series and it shouldnt be like that.
I know I'll get some hate for this post but I'm only expressing my opinions. I know for one that if a trilogy of movies had done this then it would make the series as a whole seem like a waste when I could have just watched/spent my time and money on the last one.
