Anderson is like Shepard's foster father, so I don't think she'll care too much if he gives a pat on the stomach. My Shep would probably be more annoyed that someone noticed.

As for the touching your chest thing...

...Why would you care if someone touched your chest while trying to drag you to safety. Wouldn't there be far more pressing things on your mind? Like not dying? Or the giant Reapers destroying your homeplanet?

Nuff' said. Also...

sexual harassment is not O.K. no matter where the workplace is located.

If that's sexual harassment, I now say that a handshake should also be classified as such now. <_<

Well, if people start to go around deciding what kind of touching is approriate or not, then it just gets really messy, rather have all kinds of unnecessary touching of other person classified as harrassment, than risking some of the true harassers getting away clean. :?

I think all of ME 3 should be about sexual harassment charges against Anderson... with the Reapers as a backdrop to this riveting tale of abuse of position and work place conflict!

Double standards have doubled...

Oh, I want my femShep to be as tough and bad ass as all the maleSheps... but I want her feminine rights to be respected!

Puh-lease.

What bothers me most is that everyone is asking where's Hacket(sp). My femShep would want to know too since he set her up (Arrival) and she was imprisoned when she had no way to avoid the situation. She wants to punch him out. She doesn't consider herself (even paragon) part of the Alliance but sure as hell, she feels betrayed.

Only if fem shep has the option to ask "Do I look fat in this?" to Anderson 1st.

I saw. Anderson does call Shepard soft around the edges and he also says it to a male Shepard. You have no dialogue option to reply. Shepard replies after that he is getting used to all the hot meals and the comfy bed. Lazy sod.

i have another idea, they should change the scene for femshep where she falls off and Anderson catches her by the breasts and pulls her up

No sh*t, dude.

Seriously, in 2154, I hope we get over this crap.  Women aren't little delicate flowers that need to be handled as such.  Either you're "gentle" with everybody, or gentle with nobody.

So behind both of these posts.  Women in the military should not be handeled with kid gloves, if they qualify they qualify and they are soldier first, woman second.  Same thing with gays in the miltiary, if they want to fight and die for their country I say give them a gun and training and let them shoot people too.  If they are in there to be treated differently, (gender or persuasion) then they are in the wrong frikken place.

Agreed.

And as a female I find it rather disappointing that there are men who think so little of us or think our gender is so petty that we'd be upset over a friend and comrade in arms making a playful jab about weight... or that we'd be screaming in protest that he saved our life and accidentally touched our breasts in the process.

Do men really think women to be this petty and small minded? That's kind of sad really. :crying:

No not really, there are possibly some who might. But it is about physical limititations, an average women usually tend to be shorter and men often more stronger and they cannot achieve same as regular man without increase in muscule strength, please don't get me wrong there are exeptions ofcourse and these days more and more.

You're not making sense.. I wasn't referring to physical abilities.... yes I know men are stronger than us... I was talking about the "soft around the edges" comment and the "groping femsheps chest" thing. Not sure what you're talking about. Mayhaps you need to re-read my post?

If Anderson caught her via a bowling-ball grip.. then Femshep could punch his lights out.

You say this as if women aren't more flexable, nimble, efficient with their energy and better able to survive exposure to the elements.  Men and Women are different, and yes, better at different things, that doesn't mean that exceptional women should be treated differently within a service, nor should untested women be treated as automatically less capable.

Isn't FemShep smaller (height) compared to MaleShep? He may grab her by the shoulders or the upper chest part...

I'm saying it's RIDICULOUS what some people think is sexual harrassment. A pat on the stomach or shoulder or whatever is NOT sexual harrassment. Having to grab your shoulder to SAVE YOUR LIFE and accidently touching your chest is NOT sexual harrassment.

Tis' why I find it so DIFFICULT to take my own gender seriously. <_<

He's not a woman like you and I, so he'll never actually "get it" and that's not a diss towards him, just somethings people simply cannot gasp on the same social levels as others.
