read this article....
http://www.joystiq.c...-age-dlc-and-3/

well this article has definitely changed my mind. I will not purchase DA 3 or other DA DLC. You would think bioware had learned from their mistakes; yet... Oh well I will just rent it when it comes to Blockbuster

Come now, do you honestly think there will be a single Blockbuster left once DA 3 is out?

I fail to see what has offended you so in that article and before you go off on some rant, I'm probably not going to read it. You're welcome to rant, I wouldn't dream of stopping you, I'm just giving you a fair warning that I may not read it, that is all.

I can't seam to drum up the post, article or interview but at one point I recall seeing that the Warden's story wasn't completely over. It's just that at no point would us players be able to play as him/her again. What that means is anyone's guess, and many have; it could be as little as a mention in a codex or as big as the whole story revolving around the Warden.

Dry your eyes, friend, they confirmed the Warden for DA3 months ago!

Have the said something about what kind of appearence she/he will have? (I don't find anything about the warden in that link, btw)

If they are going to keep the new art direction, I hope they restrain from actually showing the Warden. My canon elf mage surely would suffer from a serious case of sudden ugliness.

Oh... I'm stating to fear that they turn her into a robed-mysterious person. Whataver they do, I'm sure it won't please origins fans. Sigh. They should have been kept the warden as the main role...

If you can neither hear nor see the Warden, I guess there are not many options left. Someone will talk about him/her or we get a letter.

I don't understand why are you being so snarky. If I offended you with something I've said, I'm sorry -my question remains, though; I don't know what has been said about the warden for DA3, and I would be grateful if someone could point me the issue or explain what's been confirmed.

Maybe this is something that has been explained many times in the forums, or something like that -if thats the case, a link could serve me either ^_^

At the moment the general gist seems to imply a new character with the possibility of a mention/cameo for Warden and Hawke though its seems to be ideas being battered around rather than confirmation

Oy vey, it was made clear a few years back that Dragon Age was about Thedas in the Dragon Age, not just a single character. So yes, DA3 will deal with someone new and their story, just like DA2 was Hawke's story and DAO was the Warden's.

all seems obvious to me,, its called dragon age, so covers a 100 year cycle of the chantry calender. not everybody could live for that long,, so the next story has to contain new characters...

And their mistake being?...They don't continue the Warden story? I would hardly call that a mistake! It's good thing they stop with the Warden. The Dragon Age world is so much richer then the Wardens/Blight story!

I would love to see a new protagonist (which will be the case I believe), with new characters and different backgrounds!

And I believe it has been said that the Warden story isn't over, but the Warden will not be the main character in Dragon Age 3!!!

Don't worry. Skyrim is due in two days and we can forget this mess has ever happened.

It's kind of like kicking over the sandcastle. They made a bad sequel and now we can only hope that new games arrive and everyone forgets about Dragon Age 2 and the Dragon Age franchise.

Or we can trust in a lead designer that doesn't even make RPG's to keep the franchise afloat.

Warden won't directly be in the game, and definitely 100% won't be the protagonist.

Can't say I'm too bothered, it will be good to have someone new.

The BioWare Pizza Delivery service. What the hell would I be talking about on the Dragon Age 2 forum?

That is the biggest mistake the production team for Dragon age has ever done, to not continue the wardens story in my opinion.

The last insult is to completley ignoring the warden in the next game.

what are you talking about? DA2 was very much an RPG maybe it wasn't to you but it was one, it had stats and skills to level up, it had a story that you guided your character through.

why must they use the warden over and over again in each game? they have always said the games are about the world not the warden. With all the didfferent endings it would be silly to take into account all those different endings. I don't understand why people expected them to use that character again.
