When did this thread turn into fanboys/haters of different characters dumping trash all over eachother. Mind you, it's fun to watch the spectable, but it's kinda off-topic, no?

I really hope Bioware doesn't change the story because of the leak and especially because of a few presumtuous opinions regarding it. Bioware shouldn't have to compromise their vision of the story just because a few people don't like that the plot isn't panning out exactly how they wanted it to.

You would have to make it so.

Pro Alliance way: destroy collector base.
Consequence in ME3: Cerberus tries to kill Shep. Soldiers appear on Cerberus in the missions. At the end of TIM made his appearance. The player has to kill the choice of TIM, or to pass the Alliance. Miranda is still, alive the possibility they as new Cerberus to use leader. In addition they would have, so as now also, four new Alliance weapons (pistol, rifle, shotgun and a sniper rifle, as well as a new Alliance can give the player armor.) Three level that you can only play can be when you play the Pro Alliance. (In the play Yes already available).

Pro Cerberus way: collector keep basis.
Consequence in ME3: Alliance attempts Shep to catch / kill. In the missions, soldiers appear on Alliance. Hackett made his appearance at the end. The player has the convincing choice from Hackett renounce of Cerberus, or to reaffirm that alliance with Cerberus, Hakett knock down and cut off. Furthermore they four had new Cerberus weapon (pistol, rifle, shotgun and a sniper rifle, as well as a new Cerberus can give the player armor.) Three level that you can only play can when playing Pro Cerberus.

Overhead compared to the current standing:
Three level (Pro Cerberus way). Two armor (Alliance/Cerberus). Four Cerberus weapon (pistol, rifle, shotgun and a sniper rifle). And the conversation with Hakett at the Pro Cerberus way. And the possibility, if not already present, the Miranda is new Cerberus of head of.

Result: A better game with a later replay value.

And yet another thread is derailed. I think I smell an incoming Lockdown.

This is why we can't have nice things, people.

Even if they wanted to, they really can't with only 5 months to release. Unless you're talking minimal stuff and sidequests, etc...

They only thing that puts me kind of off with these leaks is the way ME1+2 major choices are mostly ignored ME2-style. I really believed BW when they said ME3 would make everything different.

I'm still buying ME3 either way though.

I think the VS fans have every right to be upset. It's easy to say "LOL internets its just a game" when your favorite character hasn't been abused like theirs has.

Believe it or not, Ashley and Kaidan were once integral characters to this franchise. But for some inexplicable reason, the writers decided to turn them into pariahs in ME2. Their fans remained hopeful that their promised return in ME3 would be worth the two years of ridicule they've endured on BSN, but these leaks have dashed their hopes. So how about cutting them a little slack?

you all do understand that the leak was basically a rough draft therefore the game has changed considerably

You're not actually thinking this is the current plot, the OP states it's one of the very first drafts.

But these leakes aren't even the finelised plot, why do people ignore the OP?

@Shermos

The Rachni on Noveria is safe. The reapers found another queen and indoctrinated it. Killing her wont cause the end of the Rachni.

And also there is no cure for indoctrination. Sooner or later all species falls to it. TIM,Benezia,Saren, Grason,Udina are all proof that indoctrination will lower your intelligence and you will surccumb sooner or later.

According to the spoiler EDIT: removed spoilers

How long will it take to get the other queen indoctrinated.

They're not ignoring the OP. They're making a judgement based on past experiences.

Fact is, most early leaks turn out to be true. Bioware's response of saying that it's outdated is just standard practice in these situations.

Factor in everything that the writers have already done to push fans away from the VS (Horizon, emails, Genesis comic) and it becomes easy for them to believe that the leaks will wind up in the finished game.

The writers want us to hate the VS, and I have no idea why. I wish I did.

Good. Why couldn't we leave both Ash and Kaidan Onasi on Virmire? Even Bastilla was more interesting.

I guess it's kinda like a dragon age 2 syndrome. The decisions in ME1 and ME2 may not affect ME3 much, but that does not mean ME3 will be painful like DA2. I still believe ME3 by itself could be a complex game with many variables even without those decisions from first two games.

I know that most people are probably tired of the "old draft" argument, but you really need to consider how old this thing possibly is.

Remember this time last year? ME3 was stated to come out Holiday 2011. At some point around E3 (which we know this script is earlier than) Bioware delayed the game to March. In the last few months, Devs have tweeted how they are busy improving squadmate and character appearances, romances, and bromances. The worst spoilers are about character fates, fates that may have been decided when they had less than two years of development time.

Indeed.  Many of the spoilers I've seen don't concern me much.  Heck some made me feel better about the game.  But the VS is still a big concern for me.  Largely because of past treatment in ME2 and Genesis.

Everybody sayinng that Bioware are lying about this being a draft may want to remember the plot of ME2 a few months prior to release. All that fuss about Grunt getting recruited on Omega and whatnot. It really IS a draft, and it showed through the sloppy writing and weird chronology. Hve faith, people.

And about the VS? I imagine Bioware have every right to kill them off in the first few seconds of the game. Or any other character for that matter. Why should they not be able to do this? They can't give each and every squadmate/love interest/random merchant NPS equal attention and fanservice, isn't that obvious? Let them do whatever they want with the plot... Especially when the only basis you have for the complaining is a year-old excuse for a draft where half the sentences contradict each other and the other half might not make it in the game at all.

Grunt was supposed to get recruited on Omega? How was that going to work?

What is funny is Jewel's insistence that only a NATURAL would look like Vega and he would never juice, just like her denial that professional bodybuilding is all drugs....:innocent:

this has nothing to do with original conversation, but deary?  read the first 2 links in my signature.  I put them there, especialy for you.  once you are done and would like to learn more, feel free to ask, and I'll give you more links.  actual links, to actual resources, not some hearsay you heard somewhere.  I hope you feel special.

and stop putting words in my mouth, I never said that only a natural would look like Vega, I said that looking like Vega is perfectly possible while being "natural"  its an important distinction.

So are you disagreeing that professional bbing is not all drugs?
