Grunt was supposed to get recruited on Omega? How was that going to work?

They likely had a entirely different story arc for Grunt in which he was a escaped clone turned merc. Either that or Okeer facilities were on Omega originally.

I didn't see the story leaks, however I couldn't keep myself from the first 13 minutes of ME3.

They likely had a entirely different story arc for Grunt in which he was a escaped clone turned merc. Either that or Okeer facilities were on Omega originally.

The escaped clone theory would explain why his age was given as 22 years in the reveals prior to ME2 ( to compare Samara is 600, Miranda 35 and Mordin 50)

No it's the story leak thread, which according to Bioware has little resemblance to the actual game so obviously there is little to spoil.

I really don't get what people like you are doing in a thread about story leaks were people consequently are discussing the leaked story. You get high on internetraging?

Skipped from page 13 to 23 so sorry if I've ignored someone.

Anyway, I'm going to buy this game even per-order it - EVEN if the single player will e disappointing the co-op looks great and I'm definitely going to like it.

My main concern for the third game is choices, in the first 2 games of the series we had a number of choices for each plot point and quests - I'm worried that for some reason a number of choices will be limited for some reason.

Spoilers for ME2 -
on ME2 for example I was paragon and friendly with everyone and tried to make friends with many races as possible. One point for example is the quarian/Geth issue. I've helped tali and told the quarias not to go to war with the geth and prepare for the reapers invasion, while helping legion to save the geth on the space station - Meanwhile I've made legion and tali to coperate and exchange data in a friendly matter. What I'm expecting is that on Mass effect 3 I'll be able to recruit both geth and quarians to fight together by my side and not have to choose only one of them.

It doesn't really matter if the Kai-Leng scene has changed. The writers' intent remains clear: further demonize the VS, and provide the player with ample opportunity to dispose of them.

This perspective:

- the leak is probably base line story for NON imported Sheps from ME1 and 2.
- even non imported Shep can influence the outcome of the game a lot, even win, but the cost..

While reading the whole leaked stuff i remembered how i playd the ME2 as the first game of series:  
- Somewhere in the first half of the game i gived up, erased the character and vent to dig out and buy ME1 and did completionist play through. Meny times. Imported the character to ME2 and then played it thru like 10 times.

Why i did that?

Because I thought:
"i cant hope to beat the reapers in political - military situation where galaxy was, with non imported Shep. Not without an horrific cost..."

I think thats why the leaked story line looks so... bleak, hard, alamoust hopless and everybody are dying around.

Thats why it Looks Like player decisions in ME1 and 2 have had minimal impact on the story. This is because  - i belive so - in the leaked story - the decions are Not Made nor carryed over.

I estimate 50/60 chances that thats the case.

Why I read leaks? Well its really hard to belive, that someone will deliver what is promised. And I mean the state of thing globaly now, not the bioware or Ea games.

Me Like EA games and bioware

But the xxxx street bankers have teached us a lesson - the ones you trust - will rob you.
So its general lack of faith in many things, that once were so simple and looked like granted.

Yes, i agree, and this would make the "no one left behind" achivement worth an effort, and it would be inline with dev talk about continuinty and dire concieqeunces.
