Could just be moved to become a major part of the game. *Hopes and dreams on my part*

Hi everyone
After some investigation, we are able to provide further information regarding the Mass Effect 3 leaks this weekend:
Following the accidental public release of the internal beta, some information was extracted from game files that was then released on the internet. That information was found in test entries in our database which represent rough notes on mission summaries from early story drafts. These story outlines do not form the actual game script, and since most of these entries are from first-draft story documents, many of the elements will be different in the final game. These simplified entries also do not represent the actual dialog, non-linearity, or interactive choices in the actual game. In fact, the team is still hard at work writing and implementing final versions of storylines and dialog.
It should go without saying however that reading leaked Mass Effect 3 files - however out of date they may be - will likely spoil your experience in the game. We ask that you join with us in keeping the BioWare Social Network spoiler-free, so that as many players as possible can discover the surprises and revelations of Mass Effect 3 in the game itself.

That's what I'm thinking.MasterEcabob wrote...
Well, even if X is still in, he is only in as day-one DLC, rather than the base game itself. Make of that what you will, but it seems unlikely that his plot can be as crucial as the leak would have you to believe.
Hey, I liked Kasumi! Outside of the whole kleptomania thing, she was the sanest squadmate, except for Jacob and maybe Thane.AdmiralCheez wrote...

You-know-who probably has an interesting, but very minor role plot-wise. Hopefully more relevant this time around than Zaeed and Kasumi.
She's one of my favorites, too, but she suffered from ME2's rampant "I'm only here because I make a cool squadmate" syndrome, which was punctuated by the fact that interaction with her outside her mission was minimal. Poor Zaeed had it even worse.Ofcoursenot wrote...

All I'm saying is I hope he has a dialogue wheel, contributes to the story, and interacts with other squadmates. If Dragon Age can do it (with Shale, Sebastian, and Tallis), why can't Mass Effect?
That was definitely cool, but you're missing the point.Yuoaman wrote...
I loved Kasumi, I thought she had a lot of fun stuff to say about the rest of the crew.

Have you watched the full Sur'Kesh mission? Rember all the character-specific banter? I want the DLC squadmate to have that kind of involvement. Since he's a day-one deal, he's being developed alongside the rest of the game anyway, so there's no reason for him to feel added-on or isolated apart from the devs wanting to save resources.

I'm also hoping that Zaeed and Kasumi get ample screen time-- and I hope that Zaeed takes up his mantle as the Blue Suns leader, and isn't a dick to Shepard.

Problem with some people what i see is that ME3 plot sucks to them if it is not exactly like they had visioned it...
Including using some of their fan ideas that may be cool to them but stupid to other people. In short, when Bioware makes a plot they cant please everyone, it's an impossibility.

That isn't what is getting a lot of us (me in particular) riled up. I don't expect BW's vision to exactly match with mine. That would be unrealistic at best and I accept that. I do expect my choices in prior games to be honored however. That's especially so since Bioware itself has explicitly promised just that.
So far if the leaks are true (and I think they mostly are), that promise has been violated.

No it hasn't nothing in the leak points to that.IanPolaris wrote...

The leak is such an obvious basic outline that we cannot determine that for certain.
What I am getting sick of is everyone automatically assuming that ending to the leak script is 100% true. I am sick of Nancys taking the script so seriously when it is old as heck. And people who don't think that Bioware can't change things in 4+ months. (They may not be able to change anything huge but that doesn't mean the can't change things at all)shep82 wrote...
