You can still get a perfect ending with a couple of non-loyal squaddies.
But only specific non-loyals and only if you make specific team choices. You can't just randomly walk into it.

You are aware that ME2 loyalties could be referenced in ME3 right? Sure, you could possibly get the, "Perfect ending" in ME2 but if certain squaddies are unloyal it could affect future interactions with them in both games.onelifecrisis wrote...

Er, I'm pretty sure that as long as you have 1 loyal tech, 1 loyal bubble babe and 1 loyal leader then any of the rest of the squad can be non-loyal (as long as not too many are non-loyal). And even with everyone loyal you can't just randomly walk into it. You still have to make the same specific choices.

Best to quit what if-ing ME2 and focus more on ME3, there's no changing the past.
Your idea probably wouldn't work well for ME2-3's story/mechanics. If someone can't be made loyal then you can't fully interact with that character in either game. What is even the point of discussing an "alternate universe" of game mechanics? ME2 has already been made, and there is nothing we can do to change it.onelifecrisis wrote...

In case you didn't notice, this is the new ME2 forum.
Yes, I'm aware that loyalties can be referenced. In the alternate universe where my idea was used, the repercussions would obviously be taken into account. Or to put it another way, I really don't see what your point is.

It's best to get back on topic.
Well, I have found SOMETHING. If it is the real thing (and it appears to be), then, well, the major part of the game's plot is in there. And it appears that most of my guesses on how the story would develop in ME3 are correct. But I won't say more than that; I don't want to spoil you, and linking to leaked spoilers here is against the rules.SNascimento wrote...
Does this new leak have all the game story in it?
