The "ME3 will suck" thoughts lately have been plentiful to say the least. Im apparently part of the minorty that expects ME3 to be a great and better game than ME 1 and 2.

i want to have (or attempt to have) are small discussion on why people think ME3 will be bad and what proof there exists of that.

first of all i would like to say that i am not part of this "broader audience" that some people have been branded as simply for belieiving in the game. i dont love shooters, i hardly even like them, and ME2 is my favorite game of all time (lets see how much crap i get for saying that)

ok so someone please tell me in the most calm and logical way why ME3 could possibly be a bad game. please dont use any "broader audience" quotes, as those are simply a marketing strategy to get more players.

also please no spoilers from the leaked files, but i have watched the beta footage so thats all good.

Guys, this isn't a thread about EA's budget for ME3 and where MP fits in (although Chris has already explained that resources spent on MP would *not* have been spent on "improving" the SP experience despite claims otherwise. Theoretically, those funds could also have been spent building my very own Normandy SR2, however the ROI just wasn't there!). Back on topic please.

To go to the main point, I'd like to say thank you to those of you who have faith in BioWare and the awesome people who are working hard making games for us to enjoy. I'm also very glad for those of you who see game issues and can constructively express them. Feedback is an important process in game development, your opinions matter, and people do read them.

That being said, because I know that people read what is said here, I want to stress the difference between having constructive complaints and being rude or belligerent. And the original topic of this thread is important because sometimes it's good to tell the devs at BioWare that, even despite problems, they are doing a good job.

I should go,
Jess

Jess! You're getting better at the Pulse thing.

Aww shucks! I'm not much of a polished "host"... I'm better at improv or just talking from the heart IMO

To answer the OP's question, I was a "fan" two months ago and of course I had worries and concerns. It's natural for anyone who loves something like the ME franchise to have those fears, reasonable or not. Mostly I've tried to know only what you guys know, but occassionally I get a sneak peak at things during my Edmonton visits and... Wow!

So I know where you guys are coming from and I guess I've either been indoctrinated or the guys in Canada are truly doing some magical things ;)

I should go,
Jess
