False. Wreav didn't have a big meeting ground for the different clans. Wreav had his plan and a few ambassadors from others so he wouldn't be in a war with the others or some other reasons.

They could have focused on SP in ME 1 if they didn't dumb it down for the console.
Tuchanka has looked the same likely for centuries.Terror_K wrote...
But all that was sound and fury signifying nothing in the game. Tuchanka was the same in either case. It looked exactly the same
The camp was mostly urdnot anyway so it was likely some of those issues weren't to different.and had the same krogan standing in the same places with the same issues,
Pyjaks were the fault of a Salarian merchant. Urdnot still needs vehicles like everyother clan so obviously they will have mechanic. Grunt and Mordin's loyalty missions won't change because they aren't really directly related to Urdnot anyway.it had the same sidequests, etc.
Beyond colouring the dialogue a little and having somebody different sitting on the throne, the place was the same, despite supposedly completely opposite governing.

I think the complaint is that Wreav shouldn't have allowed Grunt to attempt the Rite because he was a traditionalist. Thing is, Wreav's reasons for doing so actually were traditionalist ones: he allowed it because of who Okeer was, as opposed to Wrex, who allowed it in spite of that.

I have reached the conclusion that anyone who thinks Tuchanka is the same regardless of who's on the throne has no soul.

Well I didn't have much of a problem with Wreav's reasoning for letting Grunt do the rite since it wasn't totally off for a krogan.

No manly tears but I was as happy to see him as he was to see Shepard. Sadly he tragically lost his life on my recent FemShep file (Ashley shot him).AdmiralCheez wrote...

Jess! You're getting better at the Pulse thing.

Well it's obvious they were limited by consoles. Imagine how much more content they could have packed into the uncharted worlds. Or how much more complex they could have made the combat beyond holding down one button and going pew pew? Or how much larger and open all the levels could have been instead of packed with boxes and linear corridors. Fact is controllers only have a finite amount of buttons. Why do you think they had to combine some of the actions into one button?

Aww shucks! I'm not much of a polished "host"... I'm better at improv or just talking from the heart IMO

To answer the OP's question, I was a "fan" two months ago and of course I had worries and concerns. It's natural for anyone who loves something like the ME franchise to have those fears, reasonable or not. Mostly I've tried to know only what you guys know, but occassionally I get a sneak peak at things during my Edmonton visits and... Wow!
So I know where you guys are coming from and I guess I've either been indoctrinated or the guys in Canada are truly doing some magical things
I should go,

I could have sworn ME1 was for the XBOX first, then got ported over...

Yeah, like I said, he did it because Okeer's name was something of a byword for fear among krogan, something he respected.

You're comparing visuals, which can be scaled down, to gameplay content, which when scaled down, gets all the RPG-fanatics into an orgy of nerd rage?
If you have a weak video card, a simple upgrade can solve all that. You can't 'upgrade' the simplistic gameplay in ME 1.
And disliking ME 1 is hardly a minority view. You obviously weren't around when it was launched.
