im not anticipating ME3 really at all, becasue i played ME2.

You are a terrible judge of quality,  Mass Effect 2 is the greatest game of all time well at least until March rolls around and then Mass Effect 2 will be the second greatest game of all time behind Mass Effect 3.

Without a doubt. The ME series has to be the deepest, most story driven epic that I have ever enjoyed. It connects on an emotional level like no other fiction that I have ever experienced. Bioware definitely created one hell of a series, and to be honest, I'm hoping they never stop with it.

Of all time... I'm not sure, considering I'll probably care more about DA3 once that's close to release. But as of right now I certainly want it more then any other game coming out next year.

You're basing your whole decision on the leak?

No, but it didn't help, that's for sure.

besides... the decision is "what's your most anticipated game" and I am looking forward to Skyrim more than ME3. Quite a bit more.

Fair enough about anticipating Skyrim more. It's just that I'd consider it not to even be a beta leak, but an alpha. You didn't see enough story to make a decision on that and the textures weren't even complete, that tied in with sloppy animation just doesn't warrant for an accurate analysis.

Why didn't it help? There's nothing even really new in it except for a couple incomplete cut scenes, both levels have been shown before at E3 and **** so gameplay wise this is all old news.

Yes. I was lucky to get into the series after the release of ME2... I don't know what I would have done with two wait periods...

We're talking about a different leak all together.

Those beta scenes (the video) didn't look that bad. It's what I saw/read in the other leak about certain characters.

This. But I find myself doing the odd playthrough every now and again. Literally cannot wait for ME3, probably going to be the first game that I fork out for the collectors edition.

Ah. My mistake. Are you referring to the story leak? I'm unsure of whether to read it...please don't spoil it :)

If you still want to be excited about it, don't read it.

Come to think of it, yes. I gave up on KoTOR 3 when TOR was announced - and that doesn't sound as nearly as exciting at all.

Yes!! I'm not sure I'm going to be able to stay away from the spoilers for 4 months!! I'm glad SWTOR is coming up in December. If I hold on until then I'll be safe!

I'm not sure, I remember being REALLY excited about KotOR way back when (wow, that was 8 years ago...). I was also really excited about SWTOR, but my interest in that game has dropped substantially. So I guess second most, maybe tied for first.

Sidenote: Why is Skyrim so anticipated? Is it the modding community? Because I played Morrowind and Oblivion, and all I really noticed was a huge, but boring world, and it was so sandboxy/open that I never felt attached to the world/characters.

I was wondering about Skyrim too. I also couldn't get into Oblivion. Skyrim does look pretty though.

I sometimes ache when I think of how long I have to wait....nothing in the history of history has made me hurt when thinking of a release date.
