And my guess is still Schmooples.

There must be a reason that evil thing hasn't shown itself since DA:O(!!) ../../../images/forum/emoticons/bandit.png

I assumed Oghren ate him.

Nugs are good eatin'.

OP is profound. Blew my mind, just like that.

And now we see the unfolding of the despicable plan - the triumvirate has been revealed: Schmooples, Ser Pounce-A-Lot, and Puddles the Turtle.

I eagerly await the spinoff series, Barkspawn Saves the World.

Schmooples is owned by Leliana, who in turn is working for the White Divine.

There is a small possibility that TMO is an agent of the White Divine as well, but this is very unlikely given how anti-establishment TMO is.

Ah, thanks! I'm always glad the output of my over-thinking has some value to others.

I like to think that Varric owns the Hanged Man.

Know what would be really cool? If the Hanged Man was a front for the Grey Wardens to conduct their business in Kirkwall. After all, it's a place where you can gather a lot of rumours and information, and no one will notice an extra traveller from Amaranthine or Ansberg passing through the doors. That way, the Wardens are able to keep an eye on things in Kirkwall without the need to post an official chapter of the Order (and ****** off the Templars) and they'll have another font of intelligence to draw from, as well as a place for contacts to share that info.

It's yet another front for the Friends of Red Jenny. Who may or may not be affiliated with the Wardens. (Or Aveline's family. Or the lineage of Andraste.)
