It has occured to me that the Spacer Shepard is the only one to have a parent, or possibly two if the Father is revealed to be alive.

To the best of my knowlegde, we have not seen or heard anything of Captain Hannah Shepard (possibly Admiral Hannah Shepard)  in the series beyond her message to Shepard and one off-screen appearance.

The Mother of the Universe's biggest badass deserves attention, in my humble opinion.

Note. I would like to ask everyone involved that they share NO SPOILERS on this thread.

Considering she is captain of a dreadnought i think its hard to imagine ME3 withot her involvement althou i doubt we get to see her, perhaps an emotional scene when he finds out she is dead or smt along those lines. Would really like to know the fate of his father as well, dont think we´ve gotten any hints so far, besides the fact that he was a military man.

I suppose. I made a Shepard Father-person for the sake of the stories I write on the Ash forum, but yes. I would like to know where his canon father is. Also would like to see what his mother looks like before the end. At least the default Male Shepard's mother. Knowing Bioware, they'd probably have her looks change based on what the individual Shepard looks like. Like in DA2.

I made a Spacer Shep because for this reason. Well, that and I wanted to see if Shep's background would have any relevance in ME3. If not, that'll only be a mild disappointment in the grand scheme.

I picked the Spacer Background because I ... simply love the stars. If I were born in the 22nd Century, I'd be a Spacer too.

Besides that: I support Hannah Shepard Cameo for ME3. Hopefully as Captain or Admiral of her Dreadnaught.

I always pick spacer because I'ma gundam fan (have a problem with spacenoids?)
I want an emotive scene where the Orizaba is destroyed while she is shielding the Normandy. Shepard in te com-room listenning the last words of Hannah "I love you son. I can't be more proud of you".

The only issue with seeing her is how different all Shepards can look.

If they default her to a caucasian woman and your Shepard is black/asian/hispanic/etc it would seem odd. You could claim Shepard is mixed but that might slap someone's own personal headcanon in the head.

Unless they can somehow make her favor your Shepard ... *shudders* just thought of ugly Shepard.

Poor ugly Shepard's mother. Posted Image

Something I've always wondered: Wouldn't Hannah be interested that her kid actually isn't dead in ME2?

You received the e-mail where she complained that you didn't contact her.

My mother would have shown up on the deck of the Normandy and kicked my butt for not going and seeing her.

My mother too. Which is why I like to give Hannah the benefit of the doubt and pretend that she really did seek Shepard out at some point during ME2 to get some straight answers; it's just never shown for obvious reasons. I have it occuring sometime after the mission on Horizon, where it's become more known that Shep is alive.

Oddly enough, my canon Shep is a Colonist but I've always been curious about how Spacer Sheps will have to deal with their mom since those Shepards are the only ones not orphaned.

This. But if we meet sheps dad hopefully shep doesn't know it is his/her dad since it seems like shep would have barley if any memories of this person whose been out of their lives for who knows how long. The only other family member we know is some ren players report a sister that will email shep a sorry I abandoned you to die on Earth she could show. Mindior shep's family are dead the only way around this is I can imagine shep's parents got taken as slaves where he thought they were dead and you find them on a side mission the parent knows shep but shep living many years w/o them doesn't recognize them and then he/she can be shocked and upset over this new reveal.

EDIT: I'm surprised Hanna didn't knock out his engines and forcefully board his ship and demand he explain the blackout and why she had to go through the grief of burying him. I felt upset she didn't do that she took her kid's dead for 2 years come back with a shrug instead of deep questioning. We better be able to see her and talk to her in 3 in a mother/child SB type of talk and also be able to have her meet shep's LI.

well as a spacer your personal history says parents notr parent so we can assume the father is still in the family

But no one even talks about him unless he's made no accomplishments its always about Hanna not Mr. Shepard. The news brief suggest the dad is out of the picture.

My mother would have hunted down the Normandy, stalked on board all the way up to the Captain's cabin and put the fear of God, the devil and all other mystical and dangerous creatures into Shepard. Or she'd beat him into next year....

Then probably scold him for being an idiot and want an explination.

Hell, on the Ashley Forums I have a dialogue where Shepard's in the middle of a squad meet, and the next thing they hear is an outraged 'WHAT THE F***ING HELL!?" From Captain Hannah :P

Personally, I think that Captain Shepard's body is floating out in space with her crew and the remains of her dreadnaught in Sol. From my understanding, the Alliance fleet is destroyed and her dreadnaught would likely have been tasked to defend Earth. Therefore, don't expect to meet mom in ME3 if you are spacer Shepard.

You know, I thought this was going to be an incest request at first.
