Hello foIks.

looked up the windows 7 compatibility page and it lists Dragon Age Ultimate as unplayable. Is there or will there be a fix for that? The little rumors I see listed a problem later in the game. I dont want to start and then have a crash. Of course, I also would like the game that lists windows 7 as playable to work as intended.

thankyou.

DA:O runs fine for me on Win 7 64bit, the only thing I have done is used the ntcore exe linked in this social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/6911692 thread to use 4Gb of memory, which fixed a number of random crashes for me.

Does this game auto-update btw? Right now I am now living with a philosophy that if a game can fix itself it's worth giving another go.

No it doesn't, unless you're on a platform like Steam and have that feature enabled.  Otherwise, there are official patches available for download.

By the way, unless you're special or something, the stickies apply to you too.  You're less likely to get help by ignoring the stickies that are right in front of you when you come to the forum.

http://social.biowar...8/index/7280573 "read first".

http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613 about DLCs.

http://social.biowar...8/index/5151520 more about DLCs, especially for Ultimate Edition users.

http://social.biowar...8/index/6265850 most of everything else.

Then try a fresh properly posted thread here.

If that and all else fails, contact the official game support as described in http://social.biowar.../58/index/87251 .

Even if only the first one is relevent, posting properly helps others to help you.

Cool. Sorry to sound all policey, but you'd be amazed how much resource and time would be saved if we all used a bit more common sense. Happens to most of us sooner or later, in the early days I jumped in a couple times a bit too eager myself! Hope you worked it out.
