Hello!
I'm restarting the gaming after several months absence. Never got through DA2 completly the first time around but plan to play through it a couple of times now.
After reading through the forums to catch up primarily on the changes in the patches I'm left a bit unsure. I plan to play the first time as a warrior and was thinking about about keeping a party of full time Varric and then switching around between Anders, Bethany, Isabella and Merrill. Is there or is there not a bug with Isabella's friendship ability? From what I have read I get the picture that it was supposed to be fixed in 1.03 but it is still mentioned in numerous places.
What about Sunder? Is there a bug or not with this in 1.03? Is it serious in that case?

Yep, they fixed the friendship bugs. No more combat in slow motion (and no more having -100% damage resistance).
However, if i remember right, they fixed the isabela/sebastian friendship bug (retrospectively as well) by getting the game to 'reset' everything when it loads.
This introduced the new bug known as the 'sunder bug'. Basically, sunder doesn't give the +10% critical chance it should give as it gets reset or something.
There's a pretty simple workaround though where you just switch to a single handed sword before saving, thus when you load it (and switch to 2H) you retain your 10% crit chance. That won't be as feasible for fenris, so looks like he's doomed to be bugged- oh well, he kinda sucks anyway haha
Anyway, the bug isn't a serious problem, especially if you play S&S.
Have fun playing DA2.

Isabela's friendship bug was fixed and is no longer an issue.
Sunder is bugged in 1.03, but there is a workaround. Basically all you need to do, is equip a 1H weapon every time you save the game (and then re-equip your 2H weapon) and Sunder should be working as intended. This workaround only works for Hawke though, so don't take the ability for Fenris.
