Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage Soloing (Hard Mode or Nightmare mode) tips?!?

What are some good Spells & Spells combos for Soloing Hard Mode or Nightmare Mode? 
(Why are they good combos)

What are some spells I should take right off the back so I do not get **** up at the first 2 hours of gameplay into I hit level 7 and get my AW.

Yes I know 90% of the skills are pointless but what are the good ones.

I tier of making people and finding out like 10hour into gameplay I mess it up and having to do it all over again.


PS:  I will not use any NPC help I will use the "Wait" on them.

PLZ HELP ME!  i WANT TO PLAY DA NOW BUT I NOT MESSING UP THIS PERSON.

Its a good AW build, but he using other NPC for help.  I looking for a build with can solo with.

Well if you wanna solo, then you should pick some healing abilities... how many, depends on how your playstyle is.



Imo. then I would never make a character whoem should solo anything, without the ability for extra healing, if the potion is not enough. Or you can go for tackling spells suchs as stun and things like that, to be flexibel.

Thats a hard one to be sure, Colma's build is quite good, but for it to solo u need to have a little of everything, witch is the hard part, u need CC(crushing prison and Glyphs are good for that) burst damage(fireball) and some big aoe spells i figure(blizzard and CoC) and a big load of Potions, couse u won't save it on healing spells only...



The walking bomb spells might come in handy also, since u don't need to worry about party members getting hit by them.

I found that going into most of the primal trees helped alot with everything except healing. fireball earthquake cone of cold and petrify give you good cc with no casting time. all of those spells work well with big aoes tempest inferno blizzard (which is also good for cc) death magic. rock armor increases survivability flame blast lightning blast for mobs and lightning bolt winters grasp and stonefist to finish off that little bit of health also their cooldown time is extremely low allowing you to do consistent damage and don't forget to shatter stronger enemies and mages with your stonefist. this would be more of a late game build but obviously if your soloing you should take the mind blast tree early for more cc options other than that get the heals. I found blood mage to be ok but mostly because i only use it to use the last two spells also good for cc or to pop off a spell after i depeleted my mana. Arcane Warrior is stupidly good and needed for a solo game unless you're very good at not being frustrated.

If anything i thought the lightning tree was lackluster but it does do equal damage to mana and health. max it last.

This is from personal experimentation and just recently going into the veil with Jowan. I looked at his spell list and thought I should just reload but found him to be pretty strong even though he had no healing spells and crappy health. (had the first line of all the primal spells plus stonefist fire weapons and fireball disoreint horror drain life and death magic plus three of the bm spells.)



However i personally play with a team and maxed fire earth and the death cloud line of spells. miasma is alright but most enemies late game resist the slowing and 60 sustainable is a lot and three talent points is a lot when the first spell is alright only in the begining and the second is a single enemy only cc so i wouldn't go down that line unless for rp purposes. I also find my bm aw extremely strong but if my health and mana are low and if an enemy casts a debuff on me i'm down for the count so spirit healer has way more survivability if you get all spells and all from the heal line.
