They have moved the date of it so they dont have to compete with ME3

XCOM will no longer have to compete with Mass Effect 3, which is due on March 6

XCOM is also a ******-poor generic FPS reboot of one of the greatest turn based tactical games of all time. The same thing is happening with Syndicate- press a button, something awesome happens... And nothing to do with managing your global corporation's security forces to achieving global domination.

Nothing of value was lost.

This.

UFO: Enemy Unknown is still one the best games I've ever played.   Other then the name XCOM being associated to the game, it really is a standalone FPS.  


Still two sci-fi based games coming out the same time wont spell well for them.  It makes sense for them to move it.

I'm actually interested in new XCOM game.


Also Spoony said after 2011 E3 that rips-offs ME2 gameplay only in FPS.
Even though he hates that game, he pretty much made this game a must-buy do to that comment.
