If you're worried, just don't romance anyone in ME2, and make sure to stay hooked up with Liara if you play the Shadow Broker DLC.

I would assume you cant because she betrays you apparently in ME3. Actually I think it has been confirmed. It is a shame.
Yeah....just like no marriages, no sailing away into the sunset at the end, no having the VS with you all freaking along, no love nests aboard the Normandy....

Very liberal interpretation of partial information that in and of itself is repeated and self contradicting within the datamine, which could mean branching storylines. But don't let that stop you from grasping at wild straws.

Man, could you at least use a spoiler warning?
My God.

Why? It comes from an outdated text file which, as we were told, doesn't have a lot to do with the final game. So it's not a spoiler, is it?

Because as the devs have said, they cannot say what goes in and what doesn't go in from the leaked text. Anything in there could be a potential spoiler. I am not asking people not to post spoilers, but at least put a warning.

Then consider it as a heads up, not a spoiler. If the VS betrays you in ME 3, then they must have never forgiven you after Horizon. They never fully accepted you back. And it is a shame, it really is. No VS in ME 2 and now this in ME 3.

I really hope that if they go with it, there's a way for us to avoid it, maybe if we romanced the VS or something. Because that would seriously suck. :/

There is a way, and it's another spoiler and you sure won't like it. Unless they change it...if they don't, it'd be pretty mean to the VS fans and one other character fans.

Oh yeah, I know which one you're talking about. Didn't read about it but somebody said it in some thread, I thought it was bullsh*t, it is unfair to both characters involved if you ask me. Dunno how it will play out in the end but I am hoping for a way to avoid it overall.

So at the moment it seems there won't be as much romance as there could be (and should be) and there'll be too many unnecessary sacrificies and losses. And that sucks

Either the scenes themselves have been rewritten at least once or the scene plays out differently based on some yet unknown factor.
Considering that the relationship with the VS and your interaction with them in me2 plays out differently whether you romanced them or not (slight changes to dialogue, no e-mail if non romanced) and considering that whether or not you cheat may play some part, its entirely likely that you face the worst or best scenario based on your own particular playthrough.
As for the betrayal being talked about, again without going into spoilers its more a miscommunication than a betrayal and unlike Horizon at least this one not only seems to be more easily understood but by the sound of things it can also be resolved differently.

Without going too in depth regarding the leaks and potential spoilers, there does seem to be 2 versions of pretty much the same scene regarding the VS, this to me opens up completely different scenarios.

Phew, thanks for that.
