Conversation closed I think.  A person that really thinks this has their moral compass aligned so differently from the rest of us that I don't think a reasonable discusion of ethics is possible.

No sh*t.

I hope Saph's trolling.  That kind of thinking is what turns people into dictators, terrorists, and serial killers.

Like, legitimately.  Saph, if you're serious, get help.

Why should he? Humanity is what matters to him. That's fine by me.

Ultimately, though, "humanity" only includes his little circle of friends, not the race as a whole.

You can't say you're pro-human if you'd snuff out more than half of them in an instant if it meant a gain for a small percentage.

How old do you have to be to be an engine of raw destruction as the most poweful human biotic?

Old enough to have a driver's license.

I don't think you get to decide what "pro-human" means.

Well, it means different things to different people. Certainly you aren't pro-human by her standards.

Please.  TIM would nuke a city block for a Klondike Bar, and so would you.

No I wouldn't. I don't even like Klondike bars. They are too messy.

"Pro-human" is an even more nebulous term than "Christian," and certainly no one can fully agree on what a "true Christian" is. I personally don't bother with trying to figure out who's truly what when the terms are so vague.

Well, in the case of TIM pro-human seems to mean "humans dominating over all other species", which really isn't something any of my Shepards (even the renegade Council-killing ones) can get behind.

But what if TIM wanted the Klondike Bar?  You'd do it for your sugar daddy, wouldn't you?

Look.  I'm not an objective moralist, but I do draw the line every now and then.  A society where everyone followed your rules would rapidly disintegrate into either a blood-soaked anarchy or a dictatorship that would inevitably be overthrown.  Think about it.

Actually a society that thought like me built this great nation. It is people like you who rot it from within.

If you think military and economic prowess are what make a nation great OH WAIT YOU DO.

And yeah, if you think giving women and blacks the right to vote while improving the standard of living for people is "rotting" OH WAIT YOU THINK THAT TOO.

I'd side with Cerberus if they're working with the reapers, and willing to cooperate their efforts even if it has to be secretly with the other people fighting the reapers.

Erm....that depends. Does that action ensure the survival of humanity?

If itdoes, then it's not much different from blowing up a hijacked passenger liner full of civies that holds a dangerous virus. Ultimatively, your motivations are to save as many people as you can.
