What about EDI, the SR2, the Lazarus Project, the Reaper IFF, and the whole Collector operation? Those didn't help at all?
Right. Because all that weighs up to everything bad they've done.
Especially in ME3.

Those are just there to railroad the player into working against them, and even then not everything they do in ME3 is so "bad".Someone With Mass wrote...

That latter one, while right up there with what a comic book villain would do, still has a motivation behind it that the player can somewhat agree with in the previous games. The one before that really is TOTALLY ABSURD in a time of war, as for the first one, that's just politics.Someone With Mass wrote...

Except when they're doing things like *spoiler*snip*spoiler*, of course.
Then again, that just shows that you are so much in denial, it's pretty funny to watch.

Yawn. I think it's funny how hard Bioware tries to discredit Cerberus.

Well... both. However Cerberus going overboard is of-course because of Bioware. I mean it actually does get bit funny and melodramatic at one point.
David being strung up like that is definitely very confronting...as to his actual comfort or lack there of, I concede it remains speculation on the behalf of the player....Though his constant "Quiet. please make it stop" does make it clear that he is at the very least in mental or emotional trauma.Volus Warlord wrote...

To make Cerberus look as evil as possible, they had a pic of this dude hooked up to a machine at the end of Overlord that looked atrocious. It's ugly, so it's wrong. No other rationale to call what Cerberus did in Overlord "wrong" other than the end results weren't aesthetically pleasing.

Hm. First off, the was he was strung up was enitrely unnecessary. They could've had him in a hospital bed for the same purpose. But it had to look ugly. It had to look wrong. So strap him up sideways. lol.
As per mental trauma.. eh, it happens. 3/4s of your squad is mentally traumatized in one way or another and you are free to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to it and have it be A-OK:D. Why's this any different?
The squad have the freedom, ability and mostly (well supposed to have) the mental clarity to sort their own issues and problems out...David doesn't...David is subjected to it, he has no say or choices....An elite squad have the capacity to sort themselves out.Volus Warlord wrote...

Their on Sheps squad for how greater slice of their lives? Their existance and issues don't start and end with the time they spend with Shep and none of them are forced into Sheps service, they all join of their own free will...even Grunt is recruited, not forced....As for their drama and infighting, why I wrote ...(well supposed to have)...once again that is a free choice they themselves make, immature prats does not make for inability to deal with their own issues...David on the other hand has no say what so ever or choice in what happens to him....David is a true victim...the squad self inflict their own choices.Volus Warlord wrote...

Freedom? No, not quite. They have the freedom to do what you tell them to do until they die or you dismiss them. Many only joined you because they either had no better options or no other options. And all the drama and infighting shows they certainly do not "sort themselves out."
