Before talking sh*t about illusive man give him back his 4 billion credits, for the life he has given you. Then start villainizing him.

With my main Shep? No but she do recognize that without TIM it would've been quite hard to stop the Collectors. She might not approve of what he do and the way he do things but as long as he stay out of her way she's okey.

With my second Shep? Sure, she got no problem working for TIM. She share his vision and think that Cerberus do it the right way

My Shep dont owe TIM squat, she payed that ass back by doing his crap dirty work while he used her and tried to screw her over with her friends and LI. He is an **** and I will waste him and his assinine outfit the first chance I get. He is a **** hole in my estimation.

@ Jedi ...Well, my Shepard didn't ask Cerberus and TIM to bring her back to life ;)

Anyway my canon Shepard doesn't care at all for Cerberus and doesn't share their visions either.

And it's the same for my other Shepards, but I'm working on one renegade male Shepard. He will be pro Cerberus and that means he would rather choose to work with Cerberus instead of Alliance.

No The debt to Cerberus has been paid, the mission accomplished.

And right now my Shep is not so thrilled with the Alliance either.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Also, since my Shepard kept the base, he and TIM are even as far as the whole Lazarus thing is concerned.

Hell no, cerberus is a terrorist organization.  I want to see the Illusive man's head on a stick.

That's a mistake to keep the base I think because TIM is trying to kill you in ME 3 so wouldn't he use the base agianst you?

although I don't agree with some of their methods, for once, what they did with Jack was wrong. It would be more complicated if it turned out that their new technologies were strongly tied with theirs unethic experiments.
.

Their new experiments are even worse than what they did to Jack.  In the last book "Mass Effect: Retribution" which is set after the events of ME 2, TIM tortures a cerberus operative by implanting him with modified Reaper technology.

Not to mention the horrific experiments on that autistic kid in the overlord DLC....

And Shepard knows this at the time of the decision how? I mean (s)he can guess that TIM might betray him/her, but at the time it was either keep the base to try and use it to gain knowledge ... or destroy it and waste an opportunity. At least, that was how my Shepard looked at it. I don't want to turn this into a keep the base or not discussion, though, there is a thread for that already :P

So you contend that as the Illusive Man spent so much money on Shepard, then he is exempt from moral criticism? If you awoke from a coma to find out a child murderer had spent lots of money to get you out of the coma, are you suggesting that you wouldn't criticise the offender for having murdered children until you had paid them back?

 Seems dubious to me

You talk like TIM did buy Shepard's life, but those who does that are slavers.
What if Shepard kills slavers anyway?
Besides, I can't convince myself that Cerberus money is clean so Shepard only owe things to Cerberus victims.

If they were as efficient and driven as they were in ME2's main story, then I probably would work with them, however if the writers decide to make them comic book villains (as they unfortunately seem to be doing) then I wouldn't.

Then why don't you join the reapers?
Cause I'm sure that the sacrifice they does are all well worth it too on a more global scale...

No, I would not.

If I could have played through ME2 without working with Cerberus, I would have.

Not if Cerberus has put a hit out on my Shepard. If there's a way to side with them in ME3, I'm not taking it. The Illusive Man is getting a bullet to the head for betraying my Shepard. Plus, we have some unfinished business from ME1 (you know, before Mac Walters retconned Cerberus).

Never, but I've got a refund for all his monet that has been spent on bringing back Shepard and re-building Normandy. One bullet in the head.

Absolutely. I'd go with them in a heartbeat.

But from what I've heard Cerberus is doing evil for the sake of evil in ME3, so... sad panda.

No way! After the Reapers, they are next on my list.
I'm gonna introduce TIMy-boy to my N7 pistol.
