When i add shale to my party by typing "runscript zz_addparty Shale" I go to my Inventory and go to him and my game crashes.. and help?
READ HERE to fix KEEP not showing on map (and other keep bugs), SHALE'S stuff not showing on the map (and other SHALE bugs), Orz bugs, Circle bugs, landsmeet bugs and most other game stopping...

Is there one of those debuggers that will close out the "A Prince's Favour: The First Task"?
I went all down the Harrowmont route, and didn't do anything with Behlen's side other than the first talk as I did with Harrowmont's, so I could have something to go on before choosing. I never did anything Behlen's chap asked me to, so now that I am finished in Ozrammar, I want that Journal entry gone.
Maybe I'm lucky I didn't try to play both sides and get myself into that game breaking bug, but I like a tidy Journal....

If you look at the post right above yours, there's a clue. It seems that if your keyboard/Windows doesn't *exactly* correspond to the US-Standard that they used you might have that problem. Check the key bindings in the .ini file if necessary. It will be found not in the game install directory, but via your "Documents" or "My Documents" area for the user specific data.
Hope that helps. Was a real headache for me on my customised UK keyboard....

Hello everyone. I've got the "Warden's Keep disappearance glitch". When I accept the quest from Levi Dryden, he's supposed to write the location of Soldier's peak on my map. But there is no Soldier's peak on my map, and the exclamation mark of Dryden is still present above his head, like I never spoke to him...
Note that the Warden's keep DLC is correctly installed and activated in my game.
Since I've got the Steam deluxe version of the game, I enable the console both in the daorigins.exe shortcut and inside Steam. In game, I type the "runscript zz_gwb_debug" command and the weird text appears above my screen. But nothing more happen : the Soldier's peak didn't show up and this damn exclamation mark is still there...
Is anything is supposed to happen when the command is executed ? Does it launch a dialogue or something ?
I tried some other console commands, just to check if I did fine, and it works well, so I don't think I made a mistake... (I enter "runscript zz_gwb_debug" a dozen of times to be sure I didn"t misspell it)

Tallbear this may sound very dumb to you, but how do I put shortcut on desktop that will show properties? the one that said pin to decktop does not have a properties when I right click..

Thanks so much for doing all the grunt work. Warden's Keep not working (Levi no longer in camp). I'm trying the fix above, but when I try to enter -enabledeveloperconsole outside the quotes of the DAO.exe/Shortcut/Properties/Target field, I get this error: "[Window Title]

You've prolly resolved that one by now, but you seem to be missing a space between ..." and -enabledeveloperconsole. Spaceshifting?
I had problems with that, too. In my previous XP installation I had forced "My Documents" folder to my D drive, so I couldn't get it to work at all. Now I'm on Win 7, both are on C drive and it works like a charm either on my native Finnish language pack or English.

so iv copied my short cut to the desktop, added the dev console command. But I am unable to get it to come up in game with the ` key. Any ideas? I am running windows 7 and I have tried running it in and out of full admin mode.

Just wanted to quickly de-lurk and say thanks; this and the other recommended threads have given me some options to sort out my problems.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me, nonetheless I really appreciate the help. I am bitterly disappointed that this has not been rectified by the devs - I have not read the entire thread but i hope this is eleven pages of thanks.

I too have the same problems. I had Shale's quest to go to her Thaig disappear off my map the same time that I lost the blood dragon armor (the whole set) from Alistar. I was captured and had to be rescued. When I was, the dragon armor was gone, and now I can't find Shale's thaig.

I just got hit by the bug as well - Soldiers Peak vanished from the map. Older saves had Levi in camp.
I used the debug script and warped to the repaired peak and it appears that everything is all fixed. Still have my items in my chest and all. Unfortunately, the Winter's Breath staff that was equipped on Wynne has since vanished and did not return. Is there a way to put it back into my inventory?

Hi, I've been following forum posts for a while about how to fix shale, and whilst I can follow instructions...I'm not exactly sure what I need to do, for example I can see how to get back to Honnleath with the console commands, but am I simply supposed to go through it again? If you could perhaps explain in more detail I would be VERY greatful

would it be at all possible for this code to work on getting my Red armour back? i just noticed after 3 days of playing that my blood armour is gone when i went to wear it. For my own problem, Ostagar (from RTO) dissappeared off my map. I checked back saves, and the last time I can confirm it was there was 20 played hours ago (I've been in a dungon). I followed all the steps from Kepha's post, which didnt' help. (it's installed propperly, it's authorized). Also checked out HemisH's post. Found the console command for debugging on the wiki (zz_kcc_debug). This allows me to successfully teleport to Ostagar, but the map pin still doesn't show up. The quest is still open and active in my quest log. Any ideas?

The Warden's Keep DLC disappeared suddenly. Sten was left naked (Warden Commander armour vanished) and the icon was not on the map.
I got my chest items and map icon back, but my WC armour is still missing. How do I get it back?

Just wanted to post to thank Tallbear for the guide. On my fourth play through of the game I have for the first time experienced the disappearing Warden's Keep bug, having already completed it. Used the debug script to warp to the repaired keep and it seems to be back in working order now, with the contents of the storage chest all present and correct, and the keep has reappeared on my world map.
The only thing that seems to have permanently vanished is the Winter's Breath staff, which Morrigan had equipped, but that is no big loss. Thankfully Sten still has his Starfang.

This is odd. I'm sure I've put in the "-enabledeveloperconsol" part right, but I can't seem to get the console to start at all. Could be that I don't know what button to push, but since I've tried every single one I don't think that's the issue.

I cant even get the console to work! yes if stops me from moving. Since I cant see what am typing I cant tell if am typing the lines correctly! This is very frustrating! I have tryed repeatedly to transport myself to the start of Return to Ostegar. But am getting no where!!!!
