As long as the keep, keeps working, you should be ok.
You can also run the ingame script and play with the keep flags and see if he goes away

ALL of the scripts I have listed are safe. I DO NOT recommend "finding" other ones to hack your character stats, etc as this WILL email BW/EA and mark you as a cheater, and then your online profile will never be updated.

The other debug commands are working correctly (Warden's Keep included), and I'm sure that I'm typing it in correctly. When I put "runscript zz_shl_debug" in the console (minus the ""s, of course) I get nothing, while when I use the other commands I get the dialog choices and whatnot.
Any insight?

It can't. If even NEW games are broken, then there is something wrong with your DLCs. In this case the game is corrupt and passing that corruption to brand new games. In this case a FULL uninstall and re-install *may* help. If it doesn't, uninstall and SYSTEM RESTORE back to a date BEFORE the game was installed, this will delete any borked registry entries for the game. Then re-install and things "should" be better. Also the game puts things called SIDs in the registry that can break also (which is LAME). Hence why I suggest a system restore in a case like you described.
I've only addressed fixing the saved games, and/or working around the problems with in game scripting. Once of the next things I am going to do is take apart their DLCs and see just what they are doing and what's going on. I'm sure BW will fix them.... eventually... but it doesn't help any of us NOW.
IMO, NO DLC should have been released.. actually the entire game should have been held back for 1-2 months for further beta testing. AWESOME GAME.... just went through POOOR Q/A
Edit: Another option in addition to a save game editor/fixer would be a sort of "trainer" but instead of making a trainer to "cheat" the game, the trainer corrects flags and other problems in memory - which are then passed on to the saved games, and then the trainer could be used to EASILY fix things if you get DCed from the server w/o even having to exit your game. If BW doesn't fix this issues, I will explore both possibilities.
