It isn't mentioned in any way in ME2. There was supposed to be a galactic news headline about some guy thinking he could beat Shepard's record at Pinnacle Station, but it got cut.

Now that this topic is already necro'ed, one should add that however ME3 might include more references to ME1 and the DLCs, depending on how they deal with the savegame imports.
