I was just sent a video from a group of Dragon Age fans who attending this past summer's Dragon Con in Atlanta Georgia. Not only did they attend, they attended in excellent Dragon Age cosplay.

Check out the video on YouTube

And make sure you stay till the end for the spicy shimmy. :D

On behalf of the DA team, I just wanted to pass on my thanks to Brooke Fox and Alex White - along with all the cosplayers involved - for putting this together.

I'm always amazed at the level of talent and creativity that the community has when it comes to cosplay from our games - and this was another great example, the costumes were fantastic.

As we couldn't be there in person this year, I also can't help but call out and congratulate the effort in organizing the get-together at Dragon*Con and even creating the DA2 banner for the parade - that was an awesome touch (and I won't even get into the Isabela-Anders jig at the end of the video). :)

As game developers there are few things that make us more proud and excited about our work than to see others truly enjoying it - so much so, that they would choose to invest their own personal time and in their own way honor what we've done as part of their own creative labors of love.

So whether you are doing DA cosplay, or fanart, or fanfic, or modding, or...you get the idea - the team and I salute you, and really thank you for your support.

F.

The dancing at the end really capped the video for me. One of the reasons I've continued to be a Moderator here is that I get to deal with our fans on a daily basis. It's great to see the same kind of passion, dedication and love in our fans (both cosplaying and not) that we try to show as developers.
