Yes those are factual differences but you are asking which one is better, well comparisons in qualitative terms are difficult because they are so different despite both being rpgs.

A (small) city is not an open world rpg.. chalk & cheese

I can say about Skyrim as much as about DA2 before release. It looks good. Let's hope it is.

And that is the best response I've seen.

I'm excited for Skyrim, but not as excited as I was for DA2. I have learned to never expect much from any video game now.

LOL Pre-ordering DA2 stole my video game innocence.

Heh. That's sad, but also, funny. I've been burned by other games I've bought as well, but I will also agree DA2 probably was the worst let down. I was definitely excited for it, a lot more than for Skyrim. While I can't say I hate DA2, or didn't enjoy it, or will never play it again; I can say it was nothing close to what I was expecting. Sometimes that's a really good thing, just so happens this time it wasn't.

So one or the other ? Can't say 100% because I don't have Skyrim installed on my computer yet, but I'll go out on a limb and say it's going to be head and shoulders above DA2 in probably every way.

Sorry BW. I really hope you restore all the broken faith created by the fallout of DA2 when you release DA3. I'll be waiting. I don't mind waiting, especially for quality entertainment. So don't rush it !

Here, here!

Oblivion came out in 2006. Its sequel Skyrim is now coming out in late 2011, over five years later.

People want to rail on DAO's five year development time and say that Bioware couldn't possibly make money doing that again. Well, if Bethesda makes money over fist from Skyrim, which I have no doubt that they will, that should completely shut that argument up.

I don't care if I have to wait until 2016 for DA3. As long as it is the DA3 we all hope and dream for.
