So what? I didn't mention anything about you not specifically disliking Sandbox games. To sum up my two posts you are looking Action in a Romance story. While Romance stories have action in its just not the main point of the genre. Your view is that Skyrim isn't good its a opinion that is incorrect for the general public but personally for you its just not for you.

I never said Skyrim wasn't good.

Well considering how you say "Screw Skyrim" "New Vegas has killed my desire to play all things Bethesda" "Can't stand sandbox games" then a list of complaints related to the game that you haven't played yet makes believe that you don't like it and its not a good game to you since it is not up to your expectations.

Honestly I like Bethesda games for different reasons for I like Bioware games.

This. Bethesda games are about the world. The world, and fantastic freedom within that world. Only in a Bethesda game can you walk up a mountain, and look out to see land as far as the eye can see, all available for you to set foot on. World-building is Bethesda's skill, and they are absolutely unparralleled--completely unparalleled, as I see it--in that skill.

Skyrim? Bethesda? I must have missed a turn somewhere; I thought this was a discussion about Mass Effect 3

Very well. Yes, I am still excited about ME3. Only 114 days to go!

Saying it like that just makes it seem longer. Two months until the demo at least, can't wait. Battlefield 3 was pretty useless to me besides the early access. I traded it in on Friday to pay off the rest of my ME3 Collector's Edition.

You...do realize you'd have more money if you never bought it? If you traded it back in only a couple weeks after it came out...

My friend was thinking the exact same thing lol.

I'm getting like 4 games this month. Hell one of those games could easily last me a couple of months.

Ah, I personally would never buy a game I'm not certain I could play for dozens of hours.

Yeah, same here. I don't take chances with video games; I only buy ones I'm fairly certain I'll like.

And sometimes it can be a problem, because I'm not super up-to-date on the latest and greatest so I may miss games occasionally...like ME and DA--I only learned about these through a college friend recommending ME2.

To be honest I thought I would enjoy BF3 but after a annoying as all hell beta and and a review from a friend regarding the MP gameplay made me not want to spend 60$ for it.

As hyped up as the multiplayer is I found it quite boring honestly. Single player was boring as well. The trailers looked fun so I thought I might give it a try but it was just collecting dust for about a week while I played Gears of War 3.

They're unparalleled at somethings,  but it isn't gameplay...

-They're unparalleled at creating giant empty spaces,  devoid of anything worth doing.
-They're unparalleled at not understanding RPG mechanics or what their purpose is.
-They're unparalleled at releasing bug-ridden games,  often with bugs so blindingly obvious one has to wonder why they bothered hiring a QA team since they ignore them.
-They're unparalleled at having a community so disinterested in quality that their mantra is "The modders will fix the horrible design!"
-They're unparalleled at community "management"
-They're unparalleled at releasing the same game for 20 years with less features in each release.  Every other studio has improved their products over time,  Bethseda is alone in being the only studio to release the same game 5 times with fewer features in each release.

Of all the studios in existance,  Bethseda is the one that needs to disappear fastest.

To be honest,  I'd sooner install Origin than a Bethseda piece of software,  and I loathe Origin.

Why?  Because of their community "management".  I won't buy anything from a company that acts the way they do.

Yes and no, there has been nothing but spoilers recently. No official stuff, so it's hard to stay excited when everyone here is negative and I've got nothing to sink my teeth into for myself.

Bethesda is a good company/studio. But let's not digressing this further with subjective conclusions.

I sincerely hope that ME3's hype will soar again, hopefully somewhere near release.
ME3 is promising. A good tiding for Bioware. But frankly, EA/Bioware should care more about their fans.

Bioware should be more proactive in squashing these rumors, as well as fire their entire PR department who has focused on nothing but Co-Op and multiplayer. Since when is that the Mass Effect majority, smartass'?

And lets be honest, Skyrim kicks the living **** out of anything Bioware has done as of right now. And this comes from one of the biggest Mass Effect fans out there.

And lets also be honest about New Vegas. That DID kill a lot of gamer's desires to play anything Bethesda again, with the marrid of torrential glitches, bugs, horrendious animations, buggy gameplay and graphics that looked straight out of the PS2 era it did turn a lot of gamers off.

Fallout NV was developed by Obsidian Entertainment.

Good thing that these come directly from ME fans. (I mean the two of your consecutive comments, not particularly the one I quoted)
Also want to tell you that my sincere hope for ME3 success came from a Skyrim fan. ^_^

Let's not overexaggerate too much when it comes to how horrible Fallout NV looks, unless you're also agreeing that every Bethesda game this generation had PS2 era graphics.

I must admit I don't care about the multi-player aspect of it at all and will not be participating. Reports state that the combat (always the weak point) isn't good enough to pull off enjoyable co-op anyway (mentioned in the latest XBoxWorld magazine - a very reputable UK mag).

Am I right in thinking that the 'complete' ending will not require the multiplayer at all ? Because otherwise I think that's a pretty low thing to do.
