I am not excited. At all, really.

For my favorite franchise, for a story (and antagonists) I thought so genuinely 'epic', everything I've seen about this game makes me less and less excited. From linear gameplay to poor writing to too much shooting; multiplayer and everything all put together...I'm not excited in the least.

It is my respectful opinion that major compromises have been made to cater to other genres and players, and this catering has weakened the series and the IP as a whole at the most important time.

For me, there isn't much to get excited about. I'm happy for those that are excited.

I'm going to be busy for the next half year, so I'll be ok. C'mon, midnight!

Ok hoping this doesn't get locked but with all the negative nancies out there I wanted a positive thread where all of us who still are looking foward to this game to have civilized discussions. Anyone is welcome just keep it civil. As I'm sure everyone knows I am still looking forward to what is going to be IMO GOTY. Anyone else?

Mass Effect 3 will be great if it comes to Steam or DVD will no longer require Origin. Otherwise, my most looked forward to game of 2012 will not be bought :(

More and more with each passing day.

And thanks for saying that, sympathy. Thanks for being happy for me. Have fun with Skyrim! =D

I don't think I've been this hyped for an upcoming release since Final Fantasy IX.

Last one I got this nutty for was Rock Band 3.  Before that, I can't even remember, maybe the original FFVII.

I'm still excited - like a couple of people have said, the spoilers were actually mostly encouraging in terms of character building and storyline for me, so I'm looking forward to it even more than I was.

Of course, didn't read any of the spoilers though, so I don't know if that would of changed my outlook, but otherwise I can't wait. Especially after seeing the recent pulse episode and remembering recent tweets of my favourite character, everything sounds well.

Super excited!

I have managed to avoid most of the spoilers and I am not really the worrying type. I will reserve judgment, accolades and/or disappointment for when I play the game. Until then I will plead with my mailman every day to be the first stop on his route on March 6, 3012. Bribing also a possibility.

Aw yeah, 1997. I would have listed that one (and Xenogears alongside it -- my two favorite games of all time) but my buddy in sixth grade got me into them. I didn't even have to hype those games, he just told me "these are really good" and proved it. :P

Don't blame you in the least. I still bust it out every two years or so. That game... man, that game.

Not as excited as I was. That is my honest opinion. I haven't cancelled my CE pre-order, or my CE pre-order for TOR, but I think that these will be the last two BW franchises I follow from now on. I've got too much time and money invested in the ME universe not to see it through.

I applaud the effort to keep things positive though, keep it up!

Which made the crushing fail of Xenosaga all that much worse.

...

Yep.

I still need to import Xenoblade at some point though. I hear great things. A simpler approach to the storyline, but still very much a Takahashi production. Unlike Xenosaga, which, you know, really kinda wasn't.

It could still be possible to wait that long if you contract Porphyric Hemophilia and sleep 3 days.

But that's so six years ago... I am sure something better will come out tomorrow.

This is me. I've never anticipated a game more than I do ME3. The only other trilogy I followed from start to finish was Halo, and lol, it's a good game and everything, (my son worships it) but nothing like playing out Shepard's tale. My husband was teasing me earlier, because I talk about the ME characters as though they were real people. I'm obsessed, sure, but I think BioWare make games it's really easy to obsess over.

Right, fellow BSNers? :D

You would be correct. Which is why I still want a console sequel to KOTOR I and II. Still waiting on that Jade Empire sequel as well. WHY DO I LIKE YOUR GAMES BIOWARE?!?!?!?!?!
