I don't like the online acheivements thing, but I'm pretty much impressed with everything else, so yes, I'm still excited.

Hells to the mutha lovin yes!!!!! The beta definitely had some sketchiness so good to see some time left on the clock (you also figure the build is old too). But, what I did see was great (new health system, more fluid shooting, lots of bad guys.....lots of bad guys). As for spoiler stuff, let the negatards stew. You knew the story had to be more of a straight line (what, it all leads to a final conflict, wow). Did you figure you could negotiate with the omnipotent machine gods who are hellbent on our destruction? But, hey, I am greatly excited, and batman and...ok, maybe skyrim, will keep me busy.

Man, if anything I'm even more excited. The only reason I haven't pre-ordered is that I'm still hoping that maybe EA will smarten up and let it release on Steam. If by January it doesn't look like it, though, I'll just bite the bullet and go with Origin.

So ready for this game to be released . . . I haven't been this stoked in a while.

This is me. I've never anticipated a game more than I do ME3. The only other trilogy I followed from start to finish was Halo, and lol, it's a good game and everything, (my son worships it) but nothing like playing out Shepard's tale. My husband was teasing me earlier, because I talk about the ME characters as though they were real people. I'm obsessed, sure, but I think BioWare make games it's really easy to obsess over.

Right, fellow BSNers? :D

Abso-frakkin'-lutely.

Damn right I'm excited. Can't wait! Haven't been looking forward to a game so much since ME2!

Never was excited but I don't think it looks bad.
(I haven't read the script by the way)

I'm mostly indifferent, with some curiosity on how Bioware will end this trilogy.
We'll see how this series ends.

Yes and No. The negatives are starting to dampen my enthusiasm.

Yes. I Played both ME and ME2 extensively, so I have many game and class variations that I'd like to play out. And currently have another game in progress.
Yes, moreso after having seen a bit of the leaked stuff and some of the interviews; it looks a lot more engaging and a fitting finale for the series. Yes, I would like to play through to the end many times.

NO. EA Origins, TOS and EULA. Since it appears this spyware will become mandatory on all EA games, I cancelled my Collector's Edition pre-order. If it looks like Origins can be Sandboxed or safely contained or disabled, I will probably get the standard edition of ME3. But it's wait and see first.

NO. Multiplayer. I've played a lot of BioWare single player RPGs over the years. ME and ME2 were played as single player games. Single player games were almost always the domain of the PC and designed on and for PCs and not consoles. (And yes I have both and play both) Multiplayer, in general seems better suited for the consoles/controllers since they are almost always designed for the console and ported to the PC)

NO. Since being bought out by EA, the BioWare philosophy/direction seems to have changed. Not a complaint; they can run their business as they choose. It's my computer and my money and I'll choose how to use it. I didn't like the direction with DA2. I won't bother with DA3.

Last year, I got tired of SONY's TOS/EULA (and SecuRom junk on the PC); cancelled my Playstation account and have not purchased a SONY product since. EA is probably next on my list. Still lots of worthwhile games around without the crap baggage and the library is still free.

Indeed I am, the leak actually increased my excitement. Not 100% happy about the apparent treatment of certain characters, but overall I'm definitely looking forward to the release of ME3.

I got spoiled on accident, then needed more and spoiled myself on purpose to more in depth stuff. I'm definitely more excited than I was for release. It sounds like an awesome game to me.

I will continue to be excited until Skyrim finishes downloading. At that, all thoughts of ME3 will leave my mind as I roam around slaughtering villagers for funsies.

I wasn't too happy about the first round of spoilers, but this newer set has restored my faith. I'm now more excited than I was before.

What newer set?

Edit:
Are the recent beta leaks the "first round" or the "newer set"?

The release of skyrim and the rather bad things that I've been hearing about certain characters in ME3 have decreased my excitement level to an extent.

So I have one thing to say to Mass Effect at the moment:

"FUS ROH DAH!!!!!!!!!!"

No. I hoped this would be the fantastic final part of a trilogy i would talk about forever. Now i feel disappointment and bitterness. Still gotta at least see out the series to try and get at least a bit of resolution to the journey i began and enjoyed so much.

I think this will certainly be a case of a self-fullfilling prophecy. If you are already in dissapointment mode...well...good luck trying to get up for this in march. I, for one am very excited, and I think BW is on track to exceed my expectations. I am a pretty big ME fan, so all this negativity is just adding fuel to my nerdy-inferno.
