How about the one I linked to before?

Considering I read it all, I saw only dismissal of Renegade choices from ME1 to ME2. Can't go more into detail about it but everything we've done is worthless, they're establishing the Paragon as the dominant morality and screw what the Renegades. They're establishing for their expanded universe and are canonizing the Paragon, whether we like it or not.

Thats not what I've read the choices do have an impact just not the way you want.

The choices do not have an impact. You are either lying to us or to yourself, or you didn't comprehend a single thing you read.

Well...only the paragon ones that is. I should've known they'd throw the Renegade under the bus in favor of their pretty pretty paragon.

Not really, I personally feel Bioware's standards are slipping more and more with every game. That doesn't mean I won't be getting ME3 of course, but my expectations of it are...low.

I tried not to read these new spoilers, but I'm weak so I couldn't help reading some of them.

Yes, I am excited. :D

I can't wait for the game to actually come out - if nothing more than to just shove it in peoples faces.

If decisions really don't matter - if all they are are emails and cameos...yes. I will gladly take by my words. At least I can admit that. I feel a lot of people here won't and are far too stubborn.

Oh no I did I just happen to realize that A) the story leaks are from OLD DATA! As in not complete, early drafts etc... I also believe that we havent seen all there is so any assumption on our part is simply that an assumption. Do I really need to say what happens when you assume? Hmmm?

That was my point actually. Besides the fact that I belive Chris, we are all making assumptions why don't we ya know wait and play the game?

No. If I wanted to play a game where my choices didn't matter, I'd buy a shooter or read a book.

Pretty much this.

Guess my money is better spent on the likes of Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim or The Witcher 2 (360).

Indeed, I cancelled my pre-order and used the money I saved for the Killzone games. Those have a plot that I can take more seriously than ME with it's idiotic fan pandering that's given us a cortana clone of all things.

HA! It'll take more than a few so-called spoilers to dampen my spirits! I have waited for this for a LONG time.

What's actually funny is - people must be comparing everything back to ME1. ME1 was not perfect. In fact, it was horrible. The only thing decent about it was..the story(?) and that's only because it was the beginning of the series.

Already ME3 is shaping up to be better than ME1 or 2. So for those people who are (dramatically) cancelling their pre-orders, you're probably going to miss out on a great ending. Not to mention you bought ME1 and 2...only to not finish your game. Seems kind of pointless in itself.

Perhaps you can reassure us by telling how ME3 will have deadly consequences on both story and gameplay bawsed on your choices in previous games rather than being just a little smokescreen.

Unless that's what excites you, that isn't the topic.

And yeah, even with all this bickering I am still ridiculously excited to play. I will probably be useless for a week after release after spending half of my day closeted away playing. It will be insane.

No.

ME3 is a funeral dirge for everything Renegades ever strove for. Complete, systematic slaughter of all our hopes and all our beliefs. It's hard to be excited during a funeral.

Is it also disappointing for everyone who wants to create their personal, unique game experience by taking different but equally satisfying paths to victory.

However, if you always take Paragon options and think those options being rewarded all the time makes perfect sense and don't mind the fact that it's merely an illusion of choice, then you are going to enjoy the game, because you're the target audience. Enjoy the wish fulfilment you asked for. I'm off to lament the loss of potential.

Oh, I get it, so what your saying is that based on a rough draft that was obviously based on a paragon set of choices, you have concluded that it's all over because it wasn't a renegade storyline? Has it occurred to you that really the "dramatic" difference is that while the paragons go for numbers and unity, renegades go for power and powerful individuals (ie, quantity bs quality). I can gaurantee that the ending fights will surely differ (rachni for instance). I have always saw this as the difference between the choice sets. If you aren't excited and your so hot in a biscuit to tell us how the game is ruined, why not just drop out and leave the discussing behind, aka who's really trolling who?
