Is it wrong that I get gradually more excited everytime a Cerberus apologist expresses his or her disappointment?

But you know, I am moderately excited. Not squeeing 24/7 by any means.

It is a bit wrong but I can't say I don't do the same.

As for me, I'm not too exited as I am not one of those that expects the game to be exactly what I want it to be, after all I am just one of millions of potential costumers.

No. If I wanted to play a game where my choices didn't matter, I'd buy a shooter or read a book.

Pretty much this.

Guess my money is better spent on the likes of Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim or The Witcher 2 (360).

Yep i've been semi-spoiled by the new leak and, although I'm not too happy with the direction they took with one choice, im very happy/relieved about the scale of the consequences for the other choices i read. Plus what little i've read of the story sounds brilliant.

March best hurry up and get here soon!

*Hopes this isn't classed as a spoiler*

Well i've read 3 different outcomes from one level that seem to depend on decisions from ME1/2 as well as another (me1/2 choice dependant) outcome  that looks like it will overlap with them. So thats 3 previous choices that will matter.

Though like i said im only semi-spoiled, so i have no idea how the other choices will play out.

Well, I can provide an empirical test, as I haven't read the leaked info: I have no idea what in the hell you could be referrring to, other than "any of the decisions in either game" and "something that happens at some point in ME3".  So, no, I'd say that's pretty definitely not a spoiler.

I am still excited for ME3 and I'm keeping my Collector's Edition Pre-order. However, I'm not very thrilled with the story contained in the plot leak. Although we do not know for certain when the script was made, and even though it appears to be missing a lot of data, the story is one of the first things you have to hammer out so I'm sure a lot of plot contained in the leak will remain in the final version of the game.

After dozens of story leaks for games, movies, and books over the years, the company always says the leaks are false or the story will change in the final version. But when the final version is released, the leaks are true or there are a few cosmetic changes will the leaked plot remains the same. I don't see ME3 breaking this trend, although I am certain we'll see a lot more in the final version than what was included in the leak.

Thanks, i only put that in because my original example wasn't quite as vague.

 Was getting excited.

Then multiplayer was confirmed, lost a lot of interest.

Leaks came, getting me excited again.  ME3's story may be everything ME2 lacked for me.

I don't know about "still" but it's certainly been a roller coaster for me.

I pretty much read and seen every leak, and I can tell you that (even if some of it changes)  I'm still looking forward to the game.
I have plenty of other stuff to play on the meantime so it's not like I'm desperate or anything.

After finding out what happens to the VS and hearing Mordin's new(terrible) voice, I'm not really feeling the love for this game. Not to mention the horrible lines.

And my god, the endings are horrible.

You're going off the beta?  Dude, a lot of his dialogue in that was text-to-speech.  The stuff that wasn't? Most of that wasn't even pitch-shifted.  Clearly though, we should expect him to sound exactly like that in the final game.  Including the text-to-speech parts.

Ok hoping this doesn't get locked but with all the negative nancies out there I wanted a positive thread where all of us who still are looking foward to this game to have civilized discussions. Anyone is welcome just keep it civil. As I'm sure everyone knows I am still looking forward to what is going to be IMO GOTY. Anyone else?

I would if it did not require Origin, the spyware program from EA/Bioware

And every time there's radio interference, we'll hear a synthesized male voice say "Static" instead of actual static.  Also, no Alliance ships will have textures when in space.

Let's say that I'm cautious.

If what I have seen from the leak is true, then we're talking about a stripped down, linear story for ME3.

I just hope that's not right.

Of course I am excited.
Also, I'm glad it hasn't came out in the same year as Skyrim so I don't have to quit my job to have enough time to play 'em both. :)
It's just hard to avoid the spoiler filled topics with leak at hand, I mean I keep one my eyes closed and whenever I see the words plot, story, dialogue, etc. I immediately close the topic. Hard times.

woah, woah, woah.....people actually thought THAT was going to be the game? The beta??...are you serious? There were people glitching into walls and windows, invisible guns and enemies, and (like you said) synthesized voices. Wow. If THAT was the game - yeah, I'd actually consider canceling my preorder. Who wouldn't? lol. Thankfully, it's not the game.

Mordin's terrible voice was in the E3 footatge. I don't think ppl's heads should get bitten off for hearing it there.

That was actually a completely different voice-over.  You can tell because:

a. It's all pitch-shifted.
b. There's no synthesized dialogue from him during the combat portions.
c. It sounds like Mark Meer impersonating Mordin.  Which only makes sense, because he was.

Considering he was talking about the leaks - he was probably talking about the Beta as well. It was definitely not Mordin. But the post was talking about it as if it were a fact that Mordin is going to sound like that. Which he will not. That was obviously not the final version of ME3. I think that was all that was trying to be discussed.
