Um on the subject of chest hair...no thanks. If I can shave so can you. Now if it's just a light dusting near the belly area, arms and legs eh whatever. Anymore than that though and you better shave before you touch me...and I don't care how "idiotic" that makes me. Tastes yo. Though nothing wrong with liking hairy men. Just not my cup of tea.

personal tastes are.. personal tastes.  its the overreaching statement that hairy chest or whatever is eww, disgusting that bugs me. that's what i meant by idiotic, our society telling us that in order to be atractive, we cannot be ourselves.  the particular photomanip in question is fine as is, IMO.

P.S.  as far as Lady Gaga songs - I'm ok with "poker face".  musicaly speaking, I find "paparazi" to be the most interesting, followed closely by Speechless (one of her more honest songs).  and my tastes are anything but high brow :P  I just find her... as strange as it sounds, boring.

Jeez so much misplaced hostility. My Lady Gaga comparison was just to make the point that one will tend to get more fans when one is regarded as an icon/mascot for the homosexual community. Such as LGG, or Cher. The latter does have actual singing and acting talent though.

And there's nothing wrong with being gay, or being a gay icon. So don't start that. LOL.

Reasons why most ordinary men don't like shaving:

1. It's damn uncomfortable.
2. In cooler weather, it's useful for extra insulation.
3. It is REALLY, BLOODY UNCOMFORTABLE.Image IPB

To weigh in on the Lady Gaga discussion, you should hear her duet with Tony Bennett.

In all fairness, women are not magically immune to the discomforts of shaving.  Hair on men doesn't bother me, but let's not pretend that it's somehow more of a trial for men to shave.

Everything there would apply for women as well. Doesn't stop them from shaving.

Um wow, this started to be an interesting thread to address someone's curiosity and now got soooo off topic. You want to discuss Lady Gaga or other crap, take it elsewhere.

Some people don't like Kaidan because they think he is boring or whatever. I say they simply never gave the guy a chance. One thing, Kaidan isn't the usual angst-filled man, bemoaning the way his life turned out, or how it treated him. He is a NORMAL guy, who has his past but has dealt with it and moved on. As such, it has given him a solid sense of loyalty and wisdom to be a good sounding board for Shep. Frankly, I don't want my partner to be angsty.

I like Ashley but she has quite the chip on her shoulder and it really got to me at times at how intolerant she could be of others.

Yer but we have a higher pain threshold or something like that right?:P And since my little joke is really coming to life, er more partial to waxing, quick and instant, like riping off a bandaid(oreally)>

From what I've seen many people delurked after news started to pour. Character threads in general aren't lively between games, and considering "huge" role of Kaidan in ME2, there weren't many things to discuss, so many lurked.

And yes, Kaidan's fanbase is extremely devoted. "We've made it through Horizon, we'll make through everything". Everyone who wanted to leave did it long ago.

I have always favored Kaidan. He is for me the best squad member followed by Garrus.
He is far from boring in my eyes. He is the reason why I chose a female Sheppard.
