Seriously this guy is awesome!
I was very disappointed when i realized he was only around for what, 2 missions?

Legion was one of my favorites. A sniper... that is also a tech and a meatshield. Cmon. That's pretty good.

I'm a big Legion fan. I guess you can kind of tell... His character is interesting and turned the Geth from black and white enemies into potential allies you can sympathise with.

One thing I hate about Mass Effect is the whole Capitalism in space thing. Why would alien races use economic systems remotely like our own? Why would they even think like us? The Geth are truly alien. Yes they rip off Battlestar Galactica, but there's still been some original thought put into them.

I first revived Legion as "Life for a Life". I hadn't read anything about having a Geth Squadmate, so I wasn't certain what would happen.

I started liking Legion almost immediately.

I read that as He isn't going to prom in ME3

Re the op everyone loves Legion, he doesn't have the biggest or most enthusiatic fanbase (which I'm surprised at) or nearly no one hates him either, status as a Geth notwithstanding. I suspect it's because he isn't romanceable. Whoever thought calling your title before name and headflaps would be the most adorable thing on a robot is a genius.

Legion is one of my favorite characters!!! Of my top five he is tied with Mordin. (List goes: Garrus, Wrex, Mordin/Legion, Tail/Liara, Thane) I have really been hoping for an awesome story with Legion in ME3 and would love him as a long time squadmate.

I'm foreseeing a choice where Shepard will have to choose Geth or Quarians... Legion or Tali. This choice might "affect every race in Council space"

Ah, yes. A choice between aiding the Quarians or the Geth... the Squad Mate you didn't chose probably becomes the final boss for that mission. Fighting a former Squad Mate would actually be quite a significant battle, and I suspect Bioware know that as well.
Fighting Legion or Tali? It would be a Paragon/Renegade choice. Aiding the Geth to end their war with the Quarians, would be Renegade, but reap better benefits (The assistance of the full Geth war machine, industrial power and sheer technological might) but helping the Quarians retake their homeworld from the Geth would be Paragon (But the Quarians would be a weaker and far less powerful ally than the Geth). Who would you chose?
I assume players wouldn't have the heart to fight the Quarians and would side with Tali against the Geth, eventually fighting Legion.

I'd choose Legion. Unless quarian's attitude changes a great deal towards them.
