On a side note, the AI in FEAR 1 was one of the best, if not the best ever in any kind of shooter i have played.

Yeah, it's always weird to see Zaeed step out of cover to shoot the YMIR's at point blank range. DUDE, YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER BY THIS POINT.
Or worse: Taking cover for 3 seconds, only standing up and firing a few shots once the YMIR starts using it's machine guns. Told them a dozen times: Unless you have tech armor or barrier activated, do not try to soak up a YMIR's machine gun fire.<_<

Definitely agreed. I liked actually seeing them use environments, and you were pretty much guaranteed to never have the exact same shootout twice.xCirdanx wrote...

Sadly, I feel that most RPGs have some sort of "get out of AI free" card they always use; to my knowledge, none of the RPGs I've played have had particularly good AI (though I admit I have not played them all). Harder difficulties always just mean the enemies have more HP/damage/powers, and conversely that your teammates die quicker.

Get those same team mates to stay where Shep puts them....(behind the crates, on the high platform)...when you activate the two YMIR's on Garrus's LM....<_<...SNascimento wrote...
I got really lucky with my copy of ME2... in it, teammates' AI are good.

Their abilities compensate a great deal for the lapse in Ai behavior. Katsumi's Ss & FBG can be used to give her a few seconds breathing room and Grunt's natural regeneration means he can walts around the battle field with little player micro-management. Really made my Infiltrator runs a breeze .
If they didn't improve Ai , i would hope they'd give similar means to add survivabilty to the Squad mates.

Also helps if you're a vanguard, everyone wants to attack you, not your teammates! Definitely agreed with the Kasumi and Grunt deal, I've also found that characters with single shot sniper rifles (Mantis or Widow) tend to live more, as they spend more time reloading in cover.Saaziel wrote...
This is where , in my opinion , Katsumi & Grunt really shine.

I would agree about Kasumi, but not Grunt...his a medi gel sponge for me...<_<..."No Grunt! You can NOT run straight into a husk horde and expect to survive"....Mx_CN3 wrote...
