I was much annoyed by how Warden's Keep was advertised to me, but that's a whole other topic. Today I was utterly disgusted to find out that I can not play the game without being logged into the BioWare Community. After downloading Warden's Keep any game to have it active requires that the user be logged in via in game connection. This is truly unacceptable, I bought the damn game and I bought Warden's Keep I shouldn't have to log into BioWare every time I start up my computer to play the damn game. There was no warning of this Draconian restriction on how I use my purchase, nothing in the EULA or anything! If my internet ever goes down or if there's ever a problem with the server this means I can no longer play the game.

BioWare should really apologize for this, after all if this is how they treat their paying customers then all they are doing is promoting Piracy. Even people who bought the DLC are downloading the cracked copy just for the work around.

Your game should only require you to be logged in to play DLC if your CD key was not installed into your registry properly.
To confirm if it's installed
- Run the daoriginsconfig.exe application
- On the bar on the left of the screen click 'Game'
- There will be box near the lower part of the window called Product Keys
- Confirm that you have a cd key is listed in this box
- If there is no cd key listed, navigate to the data directory on your installation cd and run 'Dragon Age_code.exe'
- If you do not have a cd key installed this exe will allow you to re-enter it

If your cd key is in your registry, the only reason that I think your DLC wouldnt be playable offline is if your offline token got corrupted for some reason. Try backing up and deleting your profile.dap file, located at

\\My Documents\\bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings

Then log back in again and see if it allows you to play offline after that.
