Aria is also one of my favorites. Now that she has her own comic I hope her character will get more development, as it will and should.

The character I *like* the most because of how natural and seamless they made her is Kasumi.
The most interesting one by far and amazingly written, as well as unexpected, to me, is Legion.

Regardless, Legion sparks the most curiosity and questions about the Geth, and is also one of my favorite characters.

Also, Grunt is something incredible. Alien puberty, presented with such wit and originality
Mordin was also nice, but the salarian touch of emotion quick-processing made him little more than a fast-talking genius to me. Great humor though, fleshed out morality, awesome lines
No one else comes to mind. Joker was great humor relief, and The Illusive Man was an interesting spot of grey.

Legions development is based more on the Geth themselves rather than Legion itself.

The reason I find him so icredibly well-written is because through one single individual we learn about the Geth as a whole. The irony is, that even though he is supposed to be an emotionless robot with no personal morals, he is the most interesting character of them all by a long shot, especially when he is unable to express the emotional meaning that Shepard's armor holds to him.
Legion's one of my faves as well, the way they pulled him off is brilliant if you ask me.

Come to think of it, Udina as well. I wouldn't say that he's necessarily a complex or deep character, but there's something to be said for the vitriol he stirs up when all he's doing is playing the political game.

Easily Mordin. By a mile. It's a shame that the dialogue wheel on his loyality mission is so fubar, but that's beside the point. His character is complex and engaging, and almost all of his lines are superb IMO.
You have forgot about one tiny thing man.............bold out the FUBAR,

These are the characters I feel the strongest empathy towards.
Shepard, Liara, and TIM are also great characters, but their writing have serious glaring flaws.
Miranda, Jack and Garrus's characters derive mostly from their outstanding voice actors, rather than their writing.
