The g105 is pretty much an updated, higher clocked 9300 (maybe 9400). It should work, it may not run max settings but it should run. Count your blessings that your laptop does not come with a craptastic HD 4200.
90% of laptops do not have upgradable video cards because 90% of laptops are not in any way ment for gaming. Of that 90% maybe 10% are barely equipped for even casual gaming.
