Well, this is actually funny, 'cause that would imply that women would be kindest persons, most moral persons after giving a childbirth or doing breast feeding and unfortunately that's not the case as we all know (though that fact is still taboo even in nowadays society). Oxytocin may be one of the components that will induce, let's say, bigger generosity, empathy but it's far from determining morality checks - Paul Zak should visit more women after giving a childbirth (trust me, it's not that serene and filled with love place, after all, old Romans didn't have problem with tossing newborns to city dump wastes)... Oxytocin is more like a safeguard there (helping the mother to connect with her newborn - not always successfully, mind you) than something that determines morality or any nice deed or feeling. Morality is more complex, way more complex thing than simple body chemistry that could be controlled by higher doses of oxytocin. Maybe this could be applied on some basic level, but so much more is needed than oxytocin or testosterone in order to have certain type of behaviour. One might mention the case of unfortunate Chris Benoit but that case would only show what happens when natural balance was gravely disturbed and we're talking in terms of normal hormonal balance.

And as addendum: if someone gave me ME to play after my first childbirth... probably, my Shepard would be a biatch of biblical proportions lol even though I was filled up with oxytocin and loved my first daughter more than anything... and I am usually paragon Shepard and if I follow renegade, it's renegon - never a scum or a butcher. :)

Interesting but I wouldn't let my blood be sampled over a game.

It has real world implications.

SURE DOES!! EA drm for 2012 will require daily blood samples and retina scans to access dlc.

Renegades aren't selfish, they make sacrifices for the good of the many.

Now that is a intriguing idea OP. I don't think it fits that well with me though as I have high testosterone even for a guy and I still tend to prefer the paragon path. So there is more to it I think. There is a logic behind the paragon choices (if you want to see it at all that is) as well as the renegade choices and if testosterone do favour logical arguments it may also favour both renegade and paragon to an extent.

Well, whenever they aren't extorting pocket-change amounts of credits from reporters and the like, of course.

Interesting topic.Although I play a dominately paragon Shep, my "crime and punishment" attitude might be considered renegade. Not always a simple subject considering it also deals without how one is raised as well.
