Do you think you will cry at least once by the end of Mass Effect 3?

Probably not...though, I know I will be emotionally attached to the story and characters.

Hmm, depends. I think if one of my favorite characters has to take a fall, I may get a little misty.  And keep in mind, I never get emotional over games, well....maybe a little by the end of Half Life Ep.2....but that was it.

But I've been with these characters for two games now, I definately have a connection with them, if anything were to happen, I think it would be definately a reflection of great writing if they get me to mist up a bit.

Garrus: Looks like you'll have to finish this without me, Shepard.

Shepard: No, No, I can't do this without you buddy...

No soul if you don't tear up just a bit if that happened.

Garrus got carried away in my first playthough screaming OH, NO! NOT THE BEES! NOT THE BEES! AAAAAHHHHH! GRBTHHAHTHEY'RE IN MY EYES! MY EYES! AAAAHHHHH! AAAAAGGHHH! which felt more like a punch in the stomach than anything else. I had planned to live with the consequences and make that my cannon playthrough but... no.

Will I get all "misty" in ME3? That depends.

I hope there will be a tear-shedding moment. Or 20. Maybe I'll cry once I realize ME is over...

No. I might tear up a bit somewhere in there. Who knows, though; this is the first trilogy of games where I've been really attached to the characters.

I probably won't cry, but close to it. Just the Earth demo was playing on those strings at some parts.

I'm one of those people who don't really cry during movies or anything, my friend calls me a robot sometimes. But I have to give BioWare credit, their games have made me tear up in the past and I expect no less from ME3.

The last time I cried was when I saw Toy Story 3 in theaters. That furnace scene made me bawl, and I don't cry about many things. However, the reason I cried was because I grew up with those characters and bonded with them. So yes, I will probably cry when ME3 comes out because I have also bonded with those characters.

As emotionally attached I am to my favorite characters and to the story, I'm not a person who cries at things. I might even get close to it if Jack's scene are heartwarming or something happens to her. Also when Thane's time comes.

Also when Thane's time comes.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Anyway, some games have made me shed various kinds and amounts of tears. I freaking bawled at the end of Final Fantasy X, I cried happy tears at the end of Kingdom Hearts II, and then there was Persona 4, Shadow of the Colossus, The World Ends With You.... But somehow I more or less held it together though some games that people insist MUST MAKE YOU CRY, like MGS4, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, and the Christmas episode in Elite Beat Agents. (though I would be lying if I said I wasn't moved)

I don't find shame in crying. Actually, I respect a game that much more if it can legitimately make me cry. I actually only got into Mass Effect this summer so a lot of the stories and emotional ties are fresh in my mind, so I probably have a higher chance of crying once ME3 gets here. Actually, I'll be a bit disappointed if I don't cry.

God, I love Nick Cage...so much, in fact, that it hurts sometimes...

On that note. Bees for everyone!

I know someone who won't be crying- Garrus. Because garrus never cries, he only makes others cry.

I will be deeply depressed when it ends. That's about it... but if my Shepard dies, I'll just rage. Guess that means I have to fight to get a perfect run-through at ME1, perfect in ME2 and work my ass off for complete Paragonness in ME3.... Also, I want get Ash back. Or in Vega's pant for my fem!shep.

Tears due to sleep deprivation are highly likely.

I haven't cried since I was seventeen(not for lack of trying), so I doubt it.

I've read the script and I find it very possible I'll shed a few silent tears here and there. Also most likely at the end, when I have to say farewell to the characters I've almost lived with for so long.

I' ve had a few tears in my eyes at the end of the first and at certain moments during the second game, so it will most likely happen again.

If not from the story itself I'll definitely be a little emotional when the game is complete and it hits me that it's the big farewell to Shepard and co. I may not have been with the series from day one (ME1 PC 2008, ME2 PS3 2011) but I've definitely grown attached to the story and characters, as well as the choices I've made thus far. I think seeing the end result of those choices and how impactful they are will definitely be emotional in the end.

I never cried for any video game or movie. I came close to it in ME1,2. So if 3 is as good as they say it would be, there might be some parts where I'll get some tears. Also I have never been so attached to fictional characters before.

I cried at the end of FF XIII, but I really doubt I'll cry at the end of this.

Why???
I had a fat grin on my face when I was watching the final scene, thinking: Wow, the game really *was* all about a lesbian romance! Huh...who would have thought Square Enix would do that in FF. Ever. Best thing about the game!

I'll probably cry if
- Kaidan dies
- Garrus dies
- Shepard dies

But I wouldn't bet on it. I've only ever cried once playing a video game. I guess I need real human faces to tear up, dunno.
I cry a lot about real life things I see on the news, dying or tortured animals in documentaries.
Movies make me cry too. And music, a lot.

What's up with people claiming that FFXIII made them sad/cry?! Did we play the same game?
