hihi, very sorry i suppose these questions are very basic, but i have not been playing nwn2 very long; i just spent hours googling but for some reason get no comprehensive search result. feeling noobish i'd just like to confirm if they are manual errata/in-game description error. for some i'm pretty sure they are, but anyway just to confirm ...
Use Poison
I don't see this in the blackguard description during nwn2 character creation. i actually found some sites even listing it as a prerequisite. other sites listing as a level 1 bonus ability. i remembered this from nwn1. it's not in the nwn2 OC manual too.
+3D6 final Sneak Attack is given level 10th not level 9th? it should be every 3rd level from 4th, right.
'Sneak Attack: At 4th level, the blackguard gains the sneak attack ability. This ability functions exactly like the rogue ability of the same name. The bonus damage is +1d6 at 4th level, +2d6 at 7th level, and +3d6 at 9th level'. This is what it says during creation ingame and at some sites.
Blackguard innate spell-casting ability @ 2nd, 6th, 7th, & 8th Levels
i read from a site that now it has been changed so that when u cast either of these, u are now given a list of similar level spells from a radial menu to choose from (for eg. the 2nd level bull-strength, radial menu gives u option for Bull's Strength, Magic Weapon, Doom, and Cure Light Wounds). there's even a spell progression table for the Blackguard!
So can i confirm that this is entirely custom, not official nwn2? that's my problem man! i played pnp during the early 1980's era of pre-3E AD&D, i don't know much about 3.5E rules, so it is very hard for me to tell which are totally custom content, which are trying to replicate D&D 3.5E rules, which are official nwn2 rules. atm i'm only interested in official nwn2.
Cause Serious/Critical wounds now adds +Blackguard level to damage in lieu of 'Caster Level'. I know this one to be true, as per one of the official patch notes.
Extra Smiting given @ level 10, is this true?
Thanks

hey great thanks for your help again. so i'll follow specific info from there. but so there is Use Poison @ level 1 as listed?
also, something else on Blackguard i wanna ask. if i became a blackguard and later my alignment changes to non-evil will i lose my 'Blackguard-hood'/get disfavoured by the dark powers etc. if i turn good, can i class into a paladin, and still retain Blackguard abilities

Yes, you retain your abilities. Use poison doesn't do what you think. http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Use_Poison
If you have questions about "can I have this class and that class", try http://nwn2db.com/builds.search.php and you can see essentially every combination you can think of.

The wiki kamal linked to is usualy a reliable source of information. Don't trust the manual, hide it, burn it, whatever, but don't trust what it says.
Some abilities you mention in your first post (like the radial menu and Extra Smiting) are only available with some add-ons, not in the vanilla game.
