Just watch the Normandy take-off at the Ending of the Tutorial. :crying:That thing has more emotion riding on it, than the entirety of ME1 + ME2. If i had to simgle out, ONE REASON, why ive been buying Bioware games for 10 years, its that they are the only one,s that make me care.

Its not even just the immersion factor, as it is those moments where you feel short of breath, your head is spinnig and your chest is about to fall off, because something incredibly heavy has happened. I honestly dont  see how expiriences like that can dissapoint, regardless of other shortcommings.(like ME2's shooty corridors and minor lack of RPGM)

Nice summary, but yeah i dont think it was that straight-foward. And to be honest, after thinking it over, people can enjoy games for whatever.

It is just surprising, that people have latched on to gameplay or overall (book) narrative, as both have so far been servisible at best. Not outstanding by any means. (ME, Bioware in general) The sudden dissappointment is a curious thing.

I was merely pointing at the irony of opening a topic expressing disappointment about the overflowing amount of disappointment.

Partly. What they liked, SO VASTLY MUCH about ME1 and ME2, that III apparently doesnt have. And we're talking general expeirience, not actual examples.( ie no SPOILERS.)

For my money, everything, the first two excelled at, has been improved upon.

In some cases, that's not what's happening.

ME1 had some decisions that went nowhere. ME2 imported those decisions and did practically nothing with them. BW openly admitted as much and promised that ME3 would finally deliver divergence and consequences for those decisions. Some people feel that the leaked script doesn't deliver on this promise.

SO ME3 will be the worst game ever/ worst of the series, unlike the highly phraised -1 und 2, because it doesnt deliver where they also didnt, huh!

Then why did they even buy and play 1 and 2, for the promise of 3.

I get it. They play this series primaraly because of narrative choice. Yet, as you say ,2/3 of the series lacks choice. SO where was their draw until now?

And you know this based on extracted plot triggers and jouranl entries from an internal beta. Really come now. Im not saying, i'm an expert but you cant possibly establish such an fact on the basis of development assets. Who knows how much of the games's files the demo contained, or how old it was.

Oh, I was just being sarcastic to another member who posts here. I am not really Polaris. And I haven't read the leaks, and therefore am not disappointed at all.
