So, what you said in the Calibrations thread was just a farse?

I don't exactly remember what you're talking about.

The spoiler here I let slip accidentally because I didn't think it was considered a spoiler.

Well, my comment was a joke, silly.

But I was refering to the post where you said "I am very careful when I post spoilers." haha

Please, do show me the officially released source of this spoiler.

If it makes you feel any better I haven't seen anything that says he definitely does unite the krogan, and even if he can its only one of the possible outcomes.

It's a good thing you don't understand. Because if you did, you would likely be disappointed as well.

Well, seemed rather obvious Phaedon wasn't trying to fool anyone, just make fun of you.  And when someone was confused on that point, he made it quite clear he wasn't really you.  Not exactly the action you'd expect if he were truly trying to pass himself off as you.

Actually,  it pretty much is the action you'd expect from him.  He has a strong tendency towards hyperbole,  and trying to put words in other people's mouths,  rather than actually trying to deal with the arguements.  He's tried to do it to me on a couple of occasions.

Come in to the thread and make an attempt to bring up something that is bordering on thread derailment even when we put the other crap to rest. Should have seen this coming.

No, you were pretending to me me so you could besmirch my character.  That's not sarcastic.  That's criminal.

If I were to do so, I'd be sure that you'd discover that I would rather capitalize on your utter lack of sense of humour, good sir. After all, near baseless negativity and threats of not buying a product while continuing to complain in forums is not a unique feature at all. :D

And that's all the derailment you'll be getting from me, OP.

I don't see how your sterling internet reputation will ever recover
Seriously though, it could be more of a parody or satire than stealing, are the people on SNL attempting to pass themselves as the president when they do impressions of him?

When I first played ME, I quit during the first mission, just after getting on the tram. I'd started as a soldier, male shep (didn't even notice the fem option), and got the impression this was just marines in space. When ME2 was released, I gave it another go, this time as an adept femShep. Wow, it was my favorite game of all time! I went back and played ME again and enjoyed it as backstory, but ME2 was still my favorite because I'd played it first and saw something others didn't see, namely; it tells the same awesome story as the first. I didn't learn much by going back and playing ME1.

So, for me, ME2 was an epic space opera of the grandest scale, full of discovery, adventure, action, romance, exploration, and the archstory was not only original but was fascinating.

ME3 isn't aimed to repeat that experience. It's the same archstory, right? Or, are we to expect more big reveals that are equally fascinating and new? Earth? Been there, done that.

Actually, it just occurred to me that ME3 is like DA:O but without the discovery. We're to unite the races against a common threat, however, this time it's with races we've already met and against an enemy we're already familiar with off the bat. We've even already "climaxed" with our LI's.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited, but just for the same reason about going back to play ME1 after ME2. Instead of going for the backstory, it's like getting the later story details. So, I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not naive enough to expect it'll be for me everything that ME2 was. I'm hoping for more, though not expecting it.

"Heavy" moments..... heh...that depends on whom you ask.

I look for good writing, consistency and a solid universe. Trying to be overly-emotional or going for cheap tricks in an effort to be "epic" does not win me over.

It's like some people who love the new Star Trek movie. I hate it as the writing is horrible. To others it's an "emotional rolercoster". To me it's a roalercoster of stupidity.

I dont thinks so. Just seems people got into this franchise for differeent things. Either, the ideal, that choices DO matter. (,...witch to some extent do. I dont think, anyone can deny that the game atleast tailers you expeirience accordingly. Where did people ever get the idea, you'd actaully be plating differnt games:lol:) or because of some narrative perfection (....come on now, your playing a game. Expect plotholes and inconsitencies here and there. In this genre, its entirely forgivable, when there so much more to it, than simple narration.)

I guess the awnser is "Its the Internet, duh"

Nooou. Because extracting game files =/= extracting script. All it can do is damage your perceptions, espetailly this early. We have so little official information now. I have them here, on my desktop. So maybe later, with the proper context. Most likely after release, just out of curiosity.

Why would you read spoilers? thats probably the cause of the disapointment, your own eagerness. I don't understand the disappiont either but then again most of the moaners are going to buy it anyway, pinch of salt people.

S/he flat out suggests that reading leaks without the proper context is a bad idea.
