Hey guys.

I've never posted on this forum before but been a Mass Effect player for years! I've only just got round to playing Mass Effect 2 properly in full, and am curious to know something.

In ME1 my FemShep had a relationship with Kaidan, and I want to continue that on in the hope that in ME3 I will be able to pursue it once more, however, how can you reassure that she won't just move on from him? I intend to avoid cheating on Kaidan but does the conversation you have with Joker regarding meeting Kaidan on Horizon affect anything further regarding her feelings? If you say that things are good and in the past (cant remember the exact dialogue), does this make her potentially move on? I really don't want to make a mistake, and I believe I might have if so!

Thanks if anyone can clarify this What relationships are actually available in ME2 in any case?

I think you can renew the Kaiden relationship without consequence so long as you do not have a LI in ME2.

And available relationships for ME2 are:
Female Shepard:
Garrus
Jacob
Thane

Male Shepard:
Jack
Miranda
Tali

Suicidal Shepard:
Morinth

EDIT:
If you have LotSB add-on you can renew your relationship with Liara as well.

Fair enough if that's so, I'm not intending to cheat or have another relationship so hopefully that's the case

On a different playthrough I'd probably go with Garrus, I've always been curious to know what would happen.
