Hopefully we see neither. Vehicle combat is terrible in the ME series.

*abysmally poor flaming*

Since you don't seem to understand what I said, I'll say it more clearly.

1. You imply that having a vehicle need to use both analog sticks is too hard for the shooter fans.
2. I mention the fact that Halo, one of the initiators of the shooter movement, uses this...which means that it isn't too hard for shooter fans.

Try harder next time, buddy!

D'aww, look at you trying to start a flame war. Good bioware doggie!

1. You read into my comments incorrectly. I was saying that driving was dumbed down. Having "pew-pew-pew" in my comments doesn't mean I'm bashing shooter fans. When you flame someone else's opinion, try to using your brain for something other than lurking the forums to bash anything that disagrees with the direction of the series. Oh, and find someone who gives a crap about the attempt as well. Stop derailing the thread.

2. Again, you read my comment incorrectly. Reread #1.

Now, back on topic to Make Vs. Tissue Pew Pew Tank (I threw those in for you, EternalAmbiguity Image IPB)

I actually wanna see space ships in ME3. Like ones you can fly. That would be pretty awesome.

The Mako. The Hammerhead was a joke.

The Mako, I learned the power of ramming with the Hammer head, but I learned how much more satisfying the charge was with the Mako.

I'd take the Mako any day of the week. I sorely miss that bugger. Steep incline? Take diagonal paths right up the incline. It got to the point that I know, more often than not, how to go up an incline on my first try. And of course, I have to mention that controls on PC were great. Thanks Demiurge. =)

The most amusing part of this is that if you look back in this thread, I actually said I prefer the Mako. So your assumption that I'm offended at you saying the Hammerhead is a tissue is not true at all; I actually agree with you. But you're just a d*ck about it.

Also, you thinking that I like the more shooter-y direction, also funny. Pal, the last shooter I bought and played was Medal of Honor Allied Assault, so you're off base there as well.

And AGAIN (this is fun!),  you thinking I'm a "bioware doggy," doublelol. In an old thread...I dunno, maybe two months ago? It was talking about some article that was going on and on about how the BSN was a horrible pit of ungrateful fools, and I disagreed with it, to the point where Brenon Holmes came out of lurk mode and started..."discussing" my views. So, wrong again!

But in the interest of appeasing your wounded ego, I'm willing to put that all aside. Why do you say driving was dumbed down?

The Hammerhead. It took exactly five seconds into the "collect artifacts" mission to figure out how to use it properly. It has a range advantage over the Mako. It has seeking missiles. It can jump up to get target lock and then be hull down where the direct fire weapons of the enemies can't hit it.

Bolded for Emphasis. The Hammerhead steers better than the Mako as well (i.e. Either move forward, back, or strafe left and right like a regular shooter, unlike the Mako's "Move forward or back whenever the game feels like it, and having the left analog stick handle the steering.)

Neither, Shepard needs to do his bit for our environment. Man-made universal entropic decay is a real thing, and Shepard must set an example for humanity for upgrading to a compact hybrid tank.  I'm cereal about this.

There is actually a new type of Prius that looks pretty tank-like. Maybe it could be an heirloom of the Shepard family.

I love the Mako more.. it's just 'Mass Effect' to me. The Hammerhead is just a remake to make us forget about the Mako...

I laughed so hard when that stupid paper hovercraft became a talking danger alarm, in that mission with the cold planet.

Tali: The geth base is up a 85 degree incline!
Shepard (in Mako): Challenge accepted.

If you can't take on one little thresher nest in the Mako, the problem's with you and not the tank. :police:
Deal with it.

The Hammerhead.

The Mako handled like %#!@* on the Xbox 360, like I was trying to navigate by the scent of ham. Not to mention the mind-rendingly idiotic ability of the Mako to stop moving in the middle of a firefight when you wanted to retreat. Yes, I know it's a control-scheme problem, but there's nothing built in reality that moves that way FOR GOOD REASON.

I knew how to use the Hammer head instantly, exploited the heck out of the seeking missiles, and would much rather face down Thresher Maws in paper armor with high agility than thick armor but %#!@ you for trying to move in a direction perpendiular to the perspective of the driver.

Those who played it on the PC may have a different opinion.

I thought the Hammerhead had problems, but I'd rather walk than take the Mako. I'd rather scan a thousand planets than drive around one more impossibly mountainous square mile in that thing. It is easily my least favorite thing in Mass Effect.

Neither.  Shepard has decided to defeat the reapers and minimize his ecological footprint all at the same time.

Nope. As a PC player, I still say Mako controls suck. Getting stuck halfway up an 80 degree incline and firing the jets to jump off sorta sucks, especially if the Mako spins, bounces and backflips 10 times before stopping and facing a random direction.

That doesn't have anything to do with the controls, thats the handling of the Mako.

Ah right, misread that. Handling sucks, PC controls are pretty good. ME1 terrain was horrendous too.

Geth armatures have killed me more than threshers, granted I was attacking them outside of the Mako for experience gain.
