Indeed. I must say, almost all of the ME2 cast is expendable ... don't kill me for saying it!
It's just that: only the VS (pick one) and Liara are destined to make it to ME3.

Bull****s

Garus and Tali were in the team in ME1 and ME2 and they are shoved in my face AGAIN in ME3 while my favorite ones are sidelined !

This is just blatant favoritism.

So no I'm not happy.

Kind of like how MJ was next to impossible to kill on the SM? He can survive a shot to the stomach even when hes not loyal but Garrus cant? WHAT THE ****?!

And if you watch closely, the story spins around them. It's not just Shepard's story, but more Shepard-Liara-VS-story. These three characters are the main cast.

Forgot about Team Dextro, did we?

It's most plausible only a few of the ME2 cast will have a bigger role in ME3. My guess is on Miranda, maybe Jacob, Mordin's role is partly known since official preview version and leaked beta.

Same as my above comment.

No, I didn't forget them. Garrus story doesn't do much to push the main story forward. Same for Tali. It's up to you if Tali will do something to solve the Quarian-Geth-War the one or the other way, but besides that - Team Dextro's story is not having that much influence on the main story.

Sorry to say that. I wished they had more influence on the story too.

Just because they don't push the main story forward doesn't mean that they aren't "main cast." To me, whether somebody is part of the main cast is based around how much content they get, and it looks like Tali and Garrus are getting a lot (much to the dismay of many, it seems).

In ME3, that changes a lot.

I don't have any issues with Team Dextro. I'm just looking on them as a story writer, not a player. And as a writer I say the story would have worked without both in ME and ME2. Tali has a tad of influence, Garrus has none at all, like Zaeed or Kasumi for instance.

As a player I say Team Dextro got a lot of screen time and it's nice to have them around in ME2 - they're, besides Joker and Chakwas, the only friendly faces on the SR2 and make that ship feeling home. That's a good thing imo. However, Joker has far more influence on the story than Tali or Garrus.

I hope so - if you kept them alive in ME2. I did. B)

It's the Prothean (who is currently unnamed as Shepard never refers to him by his name) and EDI, who stole a robot Cerberus built and is using it to communicate better with the crew and assist Shepard in battle. Complete with hair, lips and everything. I think TIM modeled it after his old dead girlfriend, which totally isn't creepy at all.

I can't decide whether EDI being a squadmate or the Prothean is the worst idea in the game.

I think it's a cool addition to the team.

Oh, right.

It makes your precious Delusive Man look sad and pathetic while Kai Leng is even a better villain, since he's actually capable of doing something instead of getting wasted and smoke all day and pretend that his character is somehow deep because of it.

Well, it's not like that's a surprise, considering that ME2 pretty much beat you over the head with the fact that Tali might take over her father's place. Even if it's just for a short moment.

Garrus? Well, he's just that good. ^_^

You mean the choice if Garrus and Tali survive the SM? I case of Tali I can see the difference between "getting kicked out of the fleet", "getting her name tainted" and "get her through all sh*t" - but Garrus? Is Sidonis THAT important?

Do these promotions really matter anyway? At the end of the day, they're going to be back on the Normandy, at which point I can't see their political position having much of an effect.

I knew thing with Tali since script was leaked( had to know everything about Geth/Quarian conflict) and didn't liked she become Admiral( though Arcian who hated that way more then me said it's actually not bad once he read it so I might live with that), but for Garrus I had no idea and thanks for spoiling me that.<_<

You really can't accept anything that's different, can you?

She's just an admiral for a brief moment, because of her knowledge of the geth.

And even then, the admirals are trying to keep it a secret.

Hmm, did not know about about Garrbear becoming a Primarch. But no worries, I would have eventually found out anyway.

It's not because of Sidonis. Not directly. I think the whole "Did you push him towards paragon or renegade?"-deal will actually mean something this time around, but that's really just speculation on my part. *SPOILEROLOLS*While Shep was playing royal hostage on Earth, Garrus went out and started actually doing stuff. The only reason the Hierarchy even has a fighting chance is because of his efforts.*SPOILHURRS*

Makes up for that "Go be a moronic death seeker who ignored everything your bro said on Omega"-deal in ME2, doesn't it?

Indeed, but not the one I was thinking of off the top of my head.  I imagine that an exiled Tali, or one who's father was stricken from the service records might not be in position to be Admiral.  Garrus is definately more straightforward, but doesn't always appear to be Primarch.

I personally think it's more important about what you do with the screen time instead of how much of it you have.

Wow. What a great comeback.

I'm sure you're a shining example of why BioWare shouldn't listen at all to its fans.
