If you registered on SWTOR before November 11th you should already have an invite for the beta on the 25th-28thish, so you shouldn't need to redeem a beta code from the BSN or Massively etc.... Could always lend it to a friend or something though.

Are invites being sent to everyone on bsn or just random people? I just got an invite and have never been following it anywhere.

if i can't redeem my code at the page Bioware sent me in the PM (Page Not Found), do i redeem it through My Account on the TOR page? it says i'll be getting "Message Not Found", and i don't want to potentially waste the key on that.

Yes.  It's what I had to do since I was getting the same error.
 
Go to "My Account"

On the right under Account Management click on "Code Redemption"
 
Follow as directed.

You must also be signed up for the Game Testing Program.

I haven't received an e-mail yet acknowledging the redemption, but then again I don't know if there will be an e-mail.  I'm guessing not.

You'll get an email with a link to download the client. They will likely send them out Monday/Tuesday.
