I kinda don't get it. At the end of dragon age 2, i sided with templars and as Anders was fully rivalry romanced, he stayed with me. Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

But when Varric tells his story at the end, he don't say anything about Anders or being together with him.... Posted Image

So i'm wondering is it bug or something else? Posted Image

Even when i started Legacy, there was no romance between Anders and my charater. Strange...

Does anyone else have the same problem?  Posted Image

There is a common rumour that Anders will commit suicide if he is forced to join with the templars. (Thus ending the romance).
It is, however, only a rumour based on what he says in that ending.

He's not forced.

Heavy recommendation from Hawke though.
That or a shank!

All right. Now we are just not-picking words. My point is that it could be because he has actually committed suicide or it could be a bug.

Yay, almost enough rivalry points to initiate the romance now(!)

You are still missing to give me a gift which I can throw back into your face and doing my personal quest.

Before we completely derail this thread I will advise OP to go to the Anders thread, we have discussed the subject there a lot and knowing the people there are someone who wouldn't mind discussing it again.

Bah, this forum is so quiet these days, if them dev's don't release info about new DLC soon, we'll forget our passwords!

Just keeping it alive.

Well then: I've got the gift covered, assuming you like deeply fried chiken wings and hot boiled Green Tea.
What's your persona quest then?
I don't do anything involving Horses and/or Lunar missions.

He may be better off... I believe, personally, that rivaling Anders and siding with the templars is on a par with selling Fenris.

Oh I am not in danger of forgetting my password. I keep get locked out so I have to re-type it every hour or so.
Yeah the forum is kind of quit, but I my self feel a little too drained for deeper moral discussion right now. And it is 23:40 here so that might be why I am only in mood for the sillyness.
As for personal quest. Well, I am currently reading up on the faust-myth so about how willing are you to sell your soul to the devil? It doesn't involve horses or Lunar missions at all....

I honestly couldn't do it. In my rival-playthrough I just couldn't pick that option on the game... It was just wrong. (But I couldn't hand over Fenris either, so I guess I can see your comparison.)

Anyway: I already sold my sould to the devil, only, the devil I'm talking about is called Dragon Age. Posted Image

Juding from your user name, properly the same country.
Well that works perfectly, then I will just keep buying tiny pieces of your soul along with future dragon age products....Posted Image

Ah! Nice.

"Everytime you purchase DLC, you'll get a tiny piece of soul in the pack for only 1$ extra!"

Well then bioware better hurry with realising new dlc's so I can purchase a soul pieces enough... I mean story content, I am totally not in the soul selling business anymore...

On a serious note, I can't help, but wonder if it isn't time for the next item pack to be annonced in about a week or two and then hopefully just another two week for the next story dlc to be annonced.

Don't care about item pack, but i would buy a companion apperance pack though.

Next story dlc ftw. Gotta have to do with them elves too.

Logically it has to be about elves or something elven related since Merril and Fenris are the only two missing. I think that the post-game dlc is going to be about Starkhaven so that got Sebastian covered.

Indeed, it has always been my theory that a full expansion would send Hawke and Company to Starkhaven.
That's what my fic's about too.

It would nice with a full expansion instead of just a post-game dlc (by the way: expansion equals bigger sould pieces), but at least we know that we will see Starkhaven since it has more and less been promised. And if we could spend a whole game in Kirkwall we can spend a whole expansion in Starkhaven....

Agreed...rivalry with Anders is just Hawke bashing everything he believes in and defends. And when Hawke triggers Vengeance to take over it just looks like torture, again and again.

Ah, that's too far fetched. I could perfectly rival Anders just by bashing his being posessed. I didn't have to be especially pro-templar to do it.

hopfully its just bug....

usually, i dont side with temlars, but this time was exception.

i didn't want to kill Anders, so the only option was to rivalry romance him.

Honestly I think it might be more mercifull to kill him or to let him go and fight against him if you are siding with the templars.
