I want only one girl, Leliana.
But my approval with Morrigan is quite high and she asks me
to go to the tent with her. If I refuse, will she never ask again?
Or do I need to bed her first and then say it's over?

I'm asking because of the -16 approval hit when I say no, and
don't want that -16 to occur again...

If you don't flirt with Morrigan at all, she shouldn't ask you to her tent. The romance has to be active for her to do so. So you really do need to make sure that the romance is OFF or you will get confronted by her or Leliana. You most likely did cut off the rormance in that conversation, however.

You'll take an approval hit by turning Morrigan down whether or not you slept with her. If she's offering, then you can refuse, or sleep with her and then break it off. Either way, you'll take a knock.

Having had a now ended relationship with Morrigan won't be a barrier to starting one with Leliana. She won't care who you've slept with in the past. But it will be a problem if the relationship with Morrigan is still active.

Make it clear to Morrigan you don't want a relationship and she won't invite you for 'sexy tent time' again.

I have some experience with this. First, don't flirt with Morrigan. Second, when she tells you that love is a weakness and asks if you feel differently, you'll want to say "Yes, I do in fact feel differently". She'll then say something like "I see. Well, we all have our weaknesses."

Yes.

But there might be a way to turn her down without breaking off the romance. I can't remember if there is.

Their tone of speaking sounds differently when there is no romance.
I noticed this with Zevran. After I denied him, he sounded very cold to me.

Naw, it's just that the greeting is different for romances and non-romances. It makes sense that if you're in a relationship with someone, they're going to sound different when talking to you. I mean, seriously, it would be strange if Alistair greeted EVERYONE with, "My command is your desire," or if Zevran greeted everyone with "I am yours." It's not that they're colder, it's that they're not nearly as affectionate.
