Steam has been pretty off about most of its counters lately. They had Borderlands releasing at 6pm ET with their counters (about 3 hours later than it was supposed to release) and ended up releasing it at about 2pm ET. I am willing to bet the game will release before the time it states - but you never know with them.

I can also pretty much guarantee that they will release later than other digital outlets.

I don't get why they don't release the game at midnight on the 3rd. Most gaming stores will sell the game before the Steam buyers can download it.

Available: November 3rd, 2009

This game will unlock in approximately 2 days and 8 hours

According to this post on the old forum: http://daforums.biow...99074&forum=135 Steam should be making the pre-load available from the 1st of November but it doesn't say what time or whether that date is just for Canadian and American customers. I'm in Australia and so far there's no sign of it, which makes me wonder whether it will be available to pre-load for the rest of the world or if we will have to wait for the 5th?

I live in Tennesse (USA) and there is no sign of a preload here. I've even checked my HD space to make sure it.

With the supposed size of the digital deluxe version I'd be surprised if pre-loading would be complete for me on release day (1536/256kbps adsl) even if they actually allowed pre-loading to start at a reasonable time today here (Australia). I hope that I don't have to wait for the bonus soundtrack stuff to finish downloading (stuff which shouldn't affect the games ability to run) in order to play.

No pre-loading yet here in Denmark. But as someone above pointed its been confirmed by a BW employee. So it is probably going to happen at some point today.

Preload isn't up yet, but I can wait to play onn the 3rd. Its a single player game so I have no rush.
