Isn't this the same freaking board in which people complained about how Bioware allowed people to vote on hair color due to fan comments?
Silly robot. Humans judge things on an issue by issue basis. I've seen people bash the smallest minute details about ME2's plot and take it as proof the devs were incompetent, then turn around and say anyone second guessing the production of the ME movie should just shut up, stop being finnicky nerds and let Bioware work.
Not even kidding there.

First you need to learn to talk properly. Second there is plenty of time to tweak things that doesn't mean they are going to cut half the game.Haron50 wrote...

Not EVERYONE hates the story. And not everyone is happy that BW is changing the script.
Like i posted before. BW cant please everyone. They should stick to what they envisioned for the game and not care entirely about what some ppl are complaining or wanting to change about a leaked OLD and UNFINISHED script.
In the end, I trust BW knows what theyre doing - they take the mass effect games quite seriously.
I just hope they dont do something so crazy just because of some crazy fans who want their fantasy fangaisms to come true.

What people fail to realize is that with this fandom (video games/character development) it's a very slippery slope and with changes comes the inevitability that you can't please everyone. It's the human psych at it's most basic, several opinions and a plethora of wants, needs and complaining. The best thing Bioware or any company can do in that situation is to try and please the most people, without alienating the rest. It's a hard thing to do by any means, and you're bound to ****** someone off with your decisions.ArcanaLegacy wrote...

Honestly, I'm just happy to be apart of the wonderful universe that is Mass Effect, no matter what twists and turns it takes.

Yep pretty much this.
True enough I've heard there was larger leak regarding dialogue, etc. (Ain't seen that.) But really there isn't much to critique. Heck the only thing that stuck me as a bit silly was regarding Jack. Although honestly in-game it'd probably be acceptable and I could think of worse things they could do.
Nothing else struck me as bad or being out of character. And trust me if I think the plot is bad I'll be the first to hit the panic button. But honestly I think some folks were looking for something to hate on. And there were only sparse details regarding the main plot.
From what I saw I'd venture the game is going to be far more inclusive of past decisions and the email approach has been largely abandoned. No complaints really other then I'm not super keen on ME3 still featuring the whole recruitment deal. Although I kinda guessed it was inevitable given ME2's setup. Still it's no reason to assume ME3 will be bad.

Is all this hubbub about delaying the game (again) due to the presumptuous title of the article listed in the OP? Or is this something people are coming up with on their own?

This post is actually one of the the most resassuring things I read about the leaks so far. For some reason I rather trust your judgement - might be because you tend to write shockingly reasonable things, and in a rather polite and appealing manner as well. You wouldn't be so kind as to read the newer leak and share your opinion on it, would you?!
I have one specific question on what you read already (which doesn't need any kind of spoilery answer, and which you basically already answered in the bolded part): are you happy/satisfied with how Ashley and Kaidan are treated in the leaked stuff? Those two are about my biggest concern right now, based on (spoiler free) opinions I read from other people on the boards. I'd really appreciate to hear your impression!

Maybe. Remember this you are fighting a Galactic war for the very survival of all life against a enemy that is nigh unstoppable. In the opening wave of the war billions have died. Many many people won't have happy endings
Why should the frontline soldiers be any better? Shepard and crew is fighting so that others can have happy endings. ME3 so far actually sounds like the dark Mass Effect that we were supposed to be getting in ME2.
In the end if Shepard and crew survives it would likely be a pyrrhic victory at best.

I didn't read the spoilers, and I don't intend to. I'm hoping for equal treatment for squadmates/characters from both games. Yeah, that's probably a lot to ask - I know - but I'm gonna miss seeing Samara on my team. Wait and see, wait and see.
As long as the game doesn't turn into bad fanfiction, I'm good, I guess.

Some people think that they should change this, change that because... they think that they are better. They see moment and not overall picture.
ME3 is a WORK IN PROGRESS. So script WILL change no matter leak. If someone complain about... well I won't say what I think about that person because Bioware would warn me or ban me
This remaind me of my last girlfriend. She wasn't too smart. Who in the right mind read LAST CHAPTER of the book just to know the ending so she can read whole story without worry ? I never understand that. And people who read leaked script are like that. First they read the book and now they complain about it. And they complain even if some part will be changed because... they don't know how it was changed.
Still Bioware can learn something from complainers. But only from smart ones.
