Dear all,

The first time I played through Mass Effect, almost two years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed all the incidental dialogue on places such as the citadel (the two diplomats arguing in the citadel tower, the turian merchant refusing to refund the human in the markets etc). I found that they would repeat themselves ad infinitum with a few progressive lines (as they do in ME2) so I could make sure I listened to all of them and enjoyed them.

I recently decided to replay the game with a new Shepard to experience a new style of gameplay. In any case, I discovered that these conversations no longer play. The NPCs involved will do the first set of dialogue when I apporach them for the first time, but they will not continue with their discussion if I leave and then re-enter the area.

I know that this sounds like a minor problem, but it is intensely frustrating, because I remember how much I enjoyed the side-conversations that the NPCs had...I just cant remember exactly what they said!

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Yours,

BigHarry

Depends how soon you go back. A lot of the dialogue in ME seemed dependent upon completing missions; which is unlike ME2 where all you would have to do is just walk in a circle and back. It may mean several trips to the Citadel to hear the dialogue.
